I’m a Computer Science student from Portugal and I’m planning to apply to TU Delft. My current average grade is 15/20 (roughly equivalent to a 3.0 GPA).

I know this meets the minimum admission requirements, but I’d really like to hear from people who have gone through the admissions process.

• Is a GPA around 3.0 generally considered safe for admission, or is it still quite competitive?
• How much weight does the motivation letter carry in the final decision? Can a strong motivation letter make a noticeable difference?

Is het de moeite waard om de studieboeken te kopen, of zijn online versies meestal te vinden en voldoende?

I’m starting my MSc in Civil Engineering this September, but due to a last-minute mix-up with my mandatory military service, I can only attend the first week of classes before having to head back home until mid-October (when I'll return permanently). Has anyone experienced a similar delay, or does anyone know if missing these few weeks will cause major issues with attendance—or even if it's permitted? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’m a Mechanical Engineering premaster (bridging) student at TU Delft and I’m looking for advice from people who have dealt with grading disputes or the Board of Examiners.
Here’s what happened:
One of my course practicals consists of several Jupyter notebooks.
I failed one notebook on the first attempt and submitted a repaired version before the official repair deadline.
After the repair grading, my score became a pass.
A few days later, the course team announced that there had been a grading mistake and took all repair grades offline.
When the corrected grades were published, my notebook was suddenly back to exactly the same score as before the repair.
I’ve checked that:
I uploaded the correct repaired notebook before the deadline.
The repaired notebook contains multiple substantial corrections to exercises that previously contained mistakes.
Unfortunately, the grading system provides no feedback, so I have no idea what was actually assessed or why the score returned to the original value and I’m kind of freaking out. I am certain I took out some very clear and obvious errors, so I think there was just an error with the automatic submission or something.
I’ve already emailed the course staff asking them to confirm that the repaired notebook was actually graded and whether they can explain the assessment, but so far they don’t respond in a timely manner at all. Grading has taken 7 weeks (!) and now I’m too late to do anything against it because they are so slow in grading stuff, seem to make errors and I can’t even get a response or timely review.
The problem is that I’m a premaster student and I have to satisfy the programme requirements before 30 August. The available one-to-one review moment appears to be at the end of August, which may be too late if there really is a grading or administrative error.
My questions are:
Has anyone dealt with something similar at TU Delft?
Is it worth contacting the Board of Examiners now because of the time pressure?
Can the Board of Examiners request that a grading issue be handled more urgently (“spoed”) if a programme deadline is approaching?
Is there anyone else (programme coordinator, study advisor, etc.) that I should contact in parallel?
I’m not asking whether I deserve a higher grade—I genuinely just want to make sure the repaired notebook was assessed correctly and that I don’t lose the opportunity to have a possible error reviewed because they are so slow to check my work.
Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve worked very hard the whole year, have an 8.4 grade average. It would be tragic if I had to drop out because of potentially an autograder mistake I cannot get corrected in time due to others being slow and just flat out not responding and I am (hopefully understandably) freaking out.
