I Guess I'm the New Mod Now, and Other Important Things.

After a series of strange events, I have somehow now become the mod of this subreddit. A few things to address first:

  1. Please don't spam advertise this subreddit on other subs. The previous mod did this on some other subreddits and it got them banned from them. This line of behaviour will only lead to this sub and its members being looked upon negatively by the rest of the ESO community and other ESO-related subreddits.
  2. It's understandably frustrating that this community hasn't "exploded" and become a huge thing yet. However, it's important to understand that it's early days. These things don't happen overnight. It's wise to be patient.
  3. I will likely add some rules to this subreddit soon to help make it more focused. I have never run a subreddit on my own, and I have work commitments in my real life, so please bear with me.
  4. I will also very likely bring on some other mods at some point to help get this place going. I will also look into getting someone with CSS skills so the sub can look pretty. Please understand that none of this will happen immediately as my free time isn't that great.

Keep on designing cool looks and posting them. I love what I've seen so far and I genuinely want to see this place take off. The best way to do that is to keep posting.

Regarding Post Approval Times

Hi there,

I'm sure some of you are aware that your posts/comments may not always be showing up immediately. I understand that this is frustrating but unfortunately a while back there was a situation where the original creator of the sub (who gave it up) kept spamming the sub with a bunch of unrelated and sometimes vile NSFW material after he abandoned it.

They continued to do this on new accounts after I banned his original one. Unfortunately this meant I had to implement some restrictions that involved filtering posts by users with low comment/post karma to the modqueue in order to manually review and approve them.

Which, in theory, seems like a good idea. Only, I'm the only mod. And some personal stuff came up recently which resulted in hindering my ability to approve things in a timely manner.

I apologise sincerely about this. I have been getting around to approving everything when I can. For now, I will loosen the restrictions somewhat, which will hopefully alleviate this somewhat.

I'll look into bringing on some new mods when I have time to vet people.

Thanks again for using this sub, and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

-- Drew

Morag Tong Stam Sorc - Need Opinions

I'm a returning player and do not have a TON of dyes to work with, but after getting Hlaalu Gold I decided to spruce up my MT fit like so. Thoughts on the gold? Too gaudy? Originally they were ransacker blue but I felt like changing it up a bit.

So in the last post I asked if you guys could choose between a Gold/Red and a Iridescent/Black dye. Some of you replied that you weren't that into the void black dye. So I went and swapped it out with the Nightblade's Indigo.

1st Picture: King Orgnum's Wine/Nightblade's Indigo

2nd Picture: King Orgnum's Wine/Void Pitch Dye

3rd Picture: Just an example of how King Orgnum's Wine changes color in different lighting and uses the same dyes as #1.

Which would you choose? 1 or 2?

For some reason, my phone keeps changing the order of these by itself... I'm mad about that.

But I grabbed the Imperial pack, and figured I'd make him a more traditional tank, as opposed to my main character who's a Two-handed tank.

He's also a fair bit huskier than my other characters, purely because he looks good with the extra weight. And is rocking some serious ink. I fucking love these tattoos - Most of my characters are using them, now 😂

He's a pure Dragonknight that uses the Azure Blue Skill styles for a more intense looking flame, and serves the Daggerfall Covenant.

A new outfit made, somewhat Assassin's Creed inspired... Hope you enjoy!

Dapper Daredevil Jerkin and Belt

Redguard 1 Arm Cops

Assassin's League Helmet and Guards

Ascendant Order Gauntlets and Boots

Thieves' Guild Bow

Drowned Mariner Sword (I wish I got the Daredevil Dapper Sword, that looks like a Rapier I hope it returns to the Crown Store soon)

Gloambound Dagger (for an invisible weapon and to maintain DW)

Virulent Venom, Coldharbour Ash, and Legate's Black for the dyes.

(I still find it funny that The Assassin Brotherhood and the Dark Brotherhood would more than likely be at odds with each other than work with each other unless they both are targeting a Templar simply due to belief differences. Even then they'd still be quite iffy.)

Still pictures don't do these outfits justice. They're VERY shiny and change colors depending on what light is hitting them from which direction.

Both are Shardborn+The Blind Mask style.

1st one uses Transliminal violet and shifts between gold and purple. Edit: Secondary color is Pact Red.

2nd one uses King Orgnum's Wine and shifts between like 4 different colors. Probably more. I only gave it a test run through Mournhold. Other lighting colors and conditions around Tamriel probably shift it to even more colors. Edit:Secondary Color is that Void black dye.

Recently getting back into ESO trying to stay focused on a few things instead of all the new things that have been added since I really last played.

It's a bit basic but I've always liked the black and green aesthetic for a ranger
