Pokémon Pokédex Illustration Binder

Upvotes

Hi everyone! I realized that there has been a lot of threads and videos regarding making a Pokédex binder with illustration based cards. I compiled a google sheet document of each Pokémon generation with current and upcoming illustrated cards in English. I also included Japanese and Chinese exclusive illustrations on there. I will keep adding cards on this list as they become available in English format (or exclusive format in other languages) If anyone has recommendations on how the document can be improved please let me know.

List Link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10BYYPYldxjYHBNMjb0ovOyp_MF7DwX1qmf4h0zxtScY/edit?usp=drivesdk

Note: This list is not exclusive to illustration rares and special illustration rares. There are no full art cards on this list. This is based on cards that have full illustrations. For cards that currently don’t have any full illustrations I put their VMax full illustrations card, mega evolution illustration card or team-up cards that include them.

I hope this helps!

First time ever pulling a chase card from a TCG set! Planning to send it to Beckett. The tiny flaw probably kills any chance of a Black Label, but I’m still hoping for a 10

Saint Seiya TCG

Hi everyone!
I’m a huge Saint Seiya fan and Kayou card collector. Over the last few months I’ve been building a small web app to help collectors keep track of their collections.
The project is called **KotZ Tracker** and it’s completely free.
**Features**
📖 Track all cards from Waves 1–5
⭐ Track every rarity (R, SR, SSR, AR, QR, UR, MR, UTR, BP, BSR, BUR, BMR, BTR and SE)
🔍 Search cards by their exact ID
❤️ Create your wishlist
➕ Add complete card ranges with one click
☁️ Save your collection in the cloud and access it from any device
I’m still improving it, so I’d really appreciate any suggestions or ideas from other collectors.

Not bad for sitting in a binder in the garage for the last 21 years.

Thought I'd submit these 2 cards and see what happens. Can't say I'm disappointed:)

Final Fantasy TCG Card Of The Day - Black Mage

Post image
1 Upvotes

Today’s card of the day is Black Mage 10-029C from Opus 10.

Black Mage 10-029C is a utility Backup that excels at recycling Ice Summons from your Break Zone. By placing itself into the Break Zone, it lets you return a key Ice Summon to your hand, helping Ice decks reuse powerful removal, disruption, or support effects throughout a match. Its low cost and ability to extend your resources make it a useful option in strategies that rely on repeated access to impactful Summons.

The Black Mage is one of the most iconic jobs in the Final Fantasy franchise, first appearing in the original game. Instantly recognizable by its oversized pointed hat, glowing yellow eyes, and shadowed face, the job specializes in destructive elemental magic such as Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder. Across the series, Black Mages have become a symbol of offensive spellcasting and magical mastery.

While many games feature the Black Mage as a customizable job, others introduce memorable characters inspired by the role. The most beloved is Vivi Ornitier from Final Fantasy IX, whose journey explores identity, purpose, and mortality, making him one of the series’ most celebrated characters. Whether as a classic job or a unique hero, the Black Mage remains one of Final Fantasy’s defining archetypes.

Bulk buy vintage Japanese singles?

Currently I am collecting vintage Japanese cards around the base/Neo sort of era and have the idea of using a 4 page binder and doing theme pages, for example the whole Charmander line with a fire energy on one page etc. I’m finding it difficult to bulk buy a lot of vintage singles to help with this idea so please hit me with good reliable sites that would be helpful with this :)

How To "Collect" Pokemon TCG

Hi all, I appreciate that there are probably similar posts elsewhere, but wanted an up-to-date opinion.

I recently started to collect some Pokemon TCG and bought some of the new 'Pitch Black' boosters and a booster box.

I was interested to know if there's a way to "collect" Pokemon cards as silly as that sounds. I see a lot of different collections, different card arts etc and wanted to know if it's better to focus on a particular collection or set, or indeed whether it's more down to individual preference.

I'm sure that it's the latter of those two but wanted some opinions before blindly buying random packs from random sets etc. I guess I'm just looking for a little guidance as the sheer number of sets/ cards is a little overwhelming.

Thank you in advance.

Looking for underrated physical TCGs to collect/open!

Hey everyone!

When I was younger, I loved collecting TCGs like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering. Earlier this year I fell down the Pokémon rabbit hole now I’ve fallen back in love with collecting cards again, and I’ve been having a blast discovering how many different games are out there now.

So far I've opened:

  • Pokémon
  • Yu-Gi-Oh!
  • Dragon Ball
  • Weiss Schwarz
  • Union Arena
  • Kayou Naruto CCG

I'm mainly a collector who enjoys opening packs, but I also love actually playing Yu-Gi-Oh!, so I appreciate games with interesting mechanics too.

I'm also a huge anime and gaming fan, which is a big reason why I've enjoyed games like Weiss Schwarz and Union Arena. I love seeing different series represented in card games, but I'm definitely open to original IPs too if they're fun or have great artwork.

I'm looking for more physical TCGs (especially indie or lesser-known ones) that deserve more attention. They don't have to be huge I’d actually love to discover games that have passionate communities but don’t get the recognition they deserve.

I'm also a small content creator (not a whatnot seller), and I've really enjoyed opening packs from different TCGs on my channel. I'd love to branch out beyond the biggest games and discover some hidden gems that deserve more attention.

I've considered getting back into Magic: The Gathering since I collected it when I was younger, but for whatever reason it just hasn't clicked enough for me to dive into it seriously yet.

So, what are some hidden gems you'd recommend? Whether it's an indie game, an overlooked TCG, an anime/game-based card game, or something that's just flown under the radar, I'd love to hear what you think makes it special!

Hello Guys,

This summer I’ve had my youngest daughter making various connections with me and when we brought the Switch versions of Green and Red she developed a love for Pokemon. Went to my mom’s house and showed her old Pokemon cards from 1999 (they weren’t bindered or anything we played the game). Now she’s getting into collecting after I brought her 3 packs of cards and watching some YouTubers. Can anyone tell me what all the abbreviations mean?

ETB and all the other sayings? Any help I’m thankful for. Thanks in advance.

Are there actually any apps like collectr where you can change yugioh cards from NA - EO for sets like 1st edition LOB?

For example I got a raigeki from LOB but it is EO not just O which is annoying that you can't change that because I think that they are all different prices.

Creative ways to display e reader?

Pretty much the title, has anyone thought of a creative way to display holo e readers? I’ve been trying to collect them as they’ve been my favorite cards since I was a kid and don’t feel like sending them in to get graded and full art extenders wouldn’t look right with them. Just looking to see what everyone else is doing, thank you!
