Teaching.

Hi there.

So I will be joining college in august InShaAllah and right now I am already teaching at a private school. But because I don't have my degree yet they are paying me less.

I got in through their interview so they gave me all science classes for higher classes of 8,9, and 10 and bio for 1st and 2nd year.

And I also teach 6 and 7 grade maths and science. It's been a year of me teaching there.

So, because I'll be leaving it for college I want to keep earning money through online teaching. If any of you want my services I can help u with studies. And I'll make notes for u too.

Housing/Studios near UCL, camden area

I have been offered a UCL accom for my final year at uni but it SUCKS and I hated it living there the year before. I’ve missed out on my opportunity to move out with mates as I was waiting for UCL to change my accommodation and they didn’t, so I feel kinda screwed. Is there any way I can find a studio within the range of £1000-£1100 within 30 minutes of UCL (tube/bus)? I would really appreciate some recommendations and help looking within this budget as I just don’t think I can firm student accom again.

I built a student-only social app because I was tired of campus life being scattered everywhere

Hey everyone!

I'm a college student, and one thing that always bothered me was how fragmented campus life is.

  • WhatsApp for class updates
  • Discord for study groups
  • Instagram for clubs
  • Reddit for anonymous posts
  • Random Google Forms for events
  • Lost & Found messages disappearing after 10 minutes 😭

So I started building CampusLoop.

The idea is simple: every user verifies with their official college email, so everyone on the platform is actually a student.

Right now it includes:

  • 🤫 Anonymous confessions
  • 📊 Campus-only polls
  • 💬 Chat with verified classmates
  • ❤️ Matchmaking
  • 🎉 Events & communities
  • 🎒 Lost & Found
  • 📸 Stories
  • 🏆 Campus leaderboards

Privacy was really important to me, so anonymous posts automatically remove phone numbers and email addresses before they're saved, and only verified students can join.

It's still a work in progress, and I'd love feedback from other students.

What would make an app like this genuinely useful at your college?

Website: https://campusloop.space/

I'd appreciate any honest feedback—whether it's about the idea, the design, or features you'd want to see.

how do i get my talent and spark at writing back after relying on ai too much for years

I used to be so good and passionate about writing, but on the emergence of AI back when I was in Grade 9, i made the horrible mistake of over using it even on the simplest tasks. Now, I started to realize how much AI has been taking from me. While, the whole time—I thought AI is a heaven-sent blessing that can give me anything. I've been trying to be less dependent on AI whenever I write but it's always a frustrating fray.

Can I get general recommendation letter

I'm trying to apply for scholarships, internships, and even jobs, but they usually ask for a letter of recommendation which I don't have. I also don't have a good CV because no projects.

So is it possible for a professor to give me a general letter of recommendation that I can use to apply for different opportunities, rather than just one specific position?

Kya kr na chayiye mujhe?

Main Nagpur ke ek middle-class family se hoon. Hamare ghar mein hamesha ek hi sapna tha achhi padhai karo, achhi job lo, aur family ki zimmedari sambhalo. Jab mera Mumbai ke college mein admission hua, mere parents ko laga ki unka sapna sach hone laga hai. Unhone mujh par bharosa kiya, aur maine bhi socha ki main unki har umeed poori karunga.

Lekin college ki journey utni aasaan nahi thi. Academics mein main utna strong nahi tha aur dheere-dheere mere 5 KT (backlogs) ho gaye. Placement season aaya, lekin mujhe campus placement nahi mili.

Us din laga tha ki shayad sab khatam ho gaya hai. Lekin maine haar nahi maani. Maine khud companies mein apply karna shuru kiya. Kai rejections ke baad mujhe Delhi mein ek Business Development Executive ki job mil gayi ₹35,000 per month. Sabse surprising baat yeh thi ki company ne meri academic backlogs ke baare mein verification nahi kiya. Mujhe laga, "Bas, ab zindagi track par aa jayegi."

Main Delhi shift ho gaya. Training khatam hui aur asli kaam shuru hua. Lekin BDE role meri expectation se bahut alag tha. Roz ke targets, constant pressure, aur hectic routine. Maine apni taraf se poori koshish ki, lekin main targets achieve nahi kar paaya. Sirf ek mahine baad mujhe job se nikal diya gaya.

Jab main ghar wapas gaya, to sirf main hi nahi, mere parents bhi toot gaye the. Unhone mujhe kuch nahi kaha, bas itna bola, " Government exam ki taiyari karo. Wahi tumhare liye sahi rahega."

Maine unki baat maan li. Pichhle ek mahine se main roz 9–10 ghante padh raha hoon. Pehli baar lag raha tha ki main apni life ko dobara bana sakta hoon.

Phir ek aur twist aaya.

College se mail aaya ki meri bachi hui KT exams July aur August mein hongi. Mujhe Mumbai wapas aana pada. Lekin is baar maine ghar walon ko sach nahi bataya. Maine unse kaha ki mujhe Mumbai mein job mil gayi hai aur joining ke liye wapas jaana zaroori hai.

Mere parents bahut khush ho gaye. Unhe laga ki unka beta phir se apne pairon par khada ho raha hai. Shayad bahut dino baad maine unke chehre par itni khushi dekhi thi. Lekin woh khushi dekhkar mere andar ek alag hi bojh aa gaya.

Haqeeqat yeh thi ki main job ke liye nahi, apni KT exams dene Mumbai aaya tha.

Ab unhe lagta hai ki main Mumbai mein job kar raha hoon. Kuch hi dino mein woh mujhse paise ki umeed bhi karenge, kyunki unhe yakeen hai ki meri salary aani shuru ho gayi hogi. Aur yahin se meri sabse badi tension shuru hoti hai.

Ek taraf government exam ki preparation hai, jiske liye main poori mehnat kar raha hoon. Doosri taraf meri KT exams hain, jinhe clear kiye bina degree complete nahi hogi. Aur teesri taraf ghar walon ka bharosa hai, jise todne se main sabse zyada darta hoon.

Kabhi-kabhi raat ko bas ek hi sawal dimag mein ghoomta rehta hai...

Main kya karun?

Kya main unhe sab sach bata doon? Ya pehle KT clear karun, government exam ki taiyari continue rakhoon aur kisi tarah ek job dhoondh kar unki umeedon par khara utarne ki koshish karun?

Student organization and analyze app with AI

Hi, I just made an app/website to help students keep track of their notes, knowleadge points and analyze tasks. I was wondering if someone would like to test the free option and tell me if it seems to work for you, and if it seems interesting at all. The standard language is Norwegian, but you can change it to english. Please tell me if the language is not optimal. https://studieassistent.lovable.app
