Halfway through s5 and I'm already raging. Unlike previous seasons where the characters stuck together or atleast communicated, this season was poorly written with weak plotholes. Steve and Nancy's trope was so forced imo. Moreover and ik this was for the plot but why did they not kill Mrs military when they had the chance to? Why did no one listen to anyone? Nancy and Jonathan ignoring Dustin's message? Hop doing the same thing.Seems like the writers were in rush to finish the season

For a while there, it was all but certain that he was the next big thing. When he was on Stranger Things, I was wondering how he didn’t get more recognition from the fan girls when he was in Twilight, which you can chalk up to timing and they were busy swooning over Taylor Lautner. And Sweeney Todd was great too. But Jamie’s face was EVERYWHERE starting in season 4, it seemed like he was set to be the English Brad Pitt.

And now… nothing. He’s a good looking guy with an accent who can actually act and has formidable credits. Did the demand run out or is he just loving fan conventions that much? Which I don’t even see many photos of him at conventions anymore.

Edit: Damn I was just curious about people’s opinions but didn’t realize how much material for my podcast i would end up with, I gotta post on Reddit more often about just guitars and comic books.

What if the show was Nancy centered. She’s a detective and every season she’s like buffy the vampire slayer, she slays monsters and handles teen drama with Steve and Jonathan too. Family dynamic get’s explored more, and i’ve been saying this but i think they should’ve killed Karen and Ted in s5 to show Nancy and Mike and give them more sadness in s5. It would’ve been great to see Nancy have a grief arc like Max in s4. It would’ve been cool for her to be like a teenie detective in first 2 seasons then get more serious and raw in s3 s4 and s5. Barb would definetly haunt the narrative a lot more in the show. And Nancy would to be honest be a good lead, people say she’s annoying and i don’t agree not even a bit. She’s so interesting and i think it would hit even more if it was Nancy centered and Karen and Ted actually died, plus they could’ve actually had Nancy finding out about Karen and Billy in s3 which would bring alot of drama and rawness in their mother daughter relationship and make Nancy more distant and pressured to keep it a secret for her mom’s sake but still loathe her for it.

At risk of being downwoted into oblivion for asking - who's this gimmick edition for?

Who prefers to watch re-releases of deliberately lower quality than their originals - Disney live-action enjoyers?

After the picture quality of movies on film was sacrificied for the transportable and reliable consistency of digital, now they're adding VHS noise and color/tracking/drifting errors just like those crappy movie releases that use digitally generated graininess to hide they were shot on RED cameras and such !?

Are we all living in the upside-down now !? Computer and photo/camera prices are already going up instead of down...

What's next - a Stranger Things (TM) dummy choke lever with authentic engine sputtering noises (by Mel Blanc) so you can relive those oh-so-joyful memories of driving with a carburetor and having to adjust the mixture every time you stopped at an intersection?

If I wanted an imperfect fuzzy revisit of season one, I'd rather rely on my own failing memory of it. </rant>

Some examples to show u what i mean, when Max woke up i really would like to see her ask Lucas why is dead Hopper telling her “Good to have you back kiddo.” Or what did it mean when Eleven 18 month’s ago that she piggybacked from a dough freezer to come see Max. Or why is Vickie from pep rally all of a sudden telling her she’s gonna be okay when she woke up from a coma in a hospital bassment. Or i wanna see when Mike Nancy and Holly visit Karen for Karen to be all like. “
all the times you weren’t home for days you were fighting some interdimensional monsters-“ and like i really from the deepness of my heart wanna see Ted’s reaction to everything. Or like Mr Clarke seeing his 7th grade student who was in a coma for 18 month’s just come with them to fulfill their plan. I would watch another season of them just explaining all that to other’s. There so much other examples of that too.

Ok so idk if it’s just my tv or if I’m seeing things but I think they fixed the color. It’s not bright yellow anymore it looks like a mix of red yellow and orange.

Would you have acted like Hopper did? Lots or product placement here too
