Hoping someone can help point me to a pattern for a True Radar. I bought a factory strung head for my 10U goalies that was used last season but the kids had a lot of difficulty throwing with it. After looking at some other goalie sticks, the pocket doesn't have much channel or definition.

I'm planning to re-use the current mesh and will likely use a hidden top string. Any pics, notes are much appreciated. I've only strung one other goalie head before and it was an old Warrior Zoo.

Has anyone had issues now going through LU poccket Pros service vs when Clem was direct? It's definitely more inconvenient but turnaround time was still good. Something just sems off with the stringing of the heads like it wasn't him who actually strung it. I've always had great service from him in the past and no issues with the stringing but find it odd now that you ship the heads to Long Island but I know he doesn't live anywhere near there. The whole process seems a bit off. Just curious of others experience.

This is my first string job. Any pointers on the knots lower on the head? Idk what I did but it doesn’t look right.

I have not pounded the mesh yet or anything. I’m wanting to be sure I got the sidewalls done well before I move on

Would this work with a chenago strung to the inside or will this likely end up too deep? Illegal? Too whippy? The atom is a solid head that held up well in the heat but I found the ball didn’t feel as secure and would rattle around a lot in a mid/mid low pocket. Trying to find a way to make the throat not feel so wide.

Hey everyone! I'm new to stringing and lacrosse in general! I've got a ecd delta on the way that I'm stringing up with stringking 5x mesh. I've string a older clutch and Evo four that feel relatively ok but that's coming from someone who has never had or used an actual well strung head. I'm playing defense of that helps at all. Would love to know any tips or any general knowledge for stringing. I've followed ustring in the past

This is the first time I've ever fully strung a head. I had only done top string repairs and shooter string replacements before this. How did I do? Anything I need to fix? Any tips are appreciated!

Hi all. I am putting together a backup stick for my son (he will also use it for his first box season). He’s an 11 year old who plays primarily attack and some middie as needed, at the rec and club level.

We have a ECD Carbon 3.0 that I want to put a backup head on. I’ve narrowed it down to a Maverik Optik force but my understanding is that Maverik had a shorter throat with a plug. That will cause fit issues and interfere with the shaft’s internal structure.

Will it fit on the Carbon 3.0? I don’t want to have to do anything crazy to make it work but before I purchase, want to make sure it will fit.

I've never strung a women's head before, any help getting started would be much appreciated. The only materials I have are what's currently on the head and 275 paracord

I've only strung the Valkyrie Armor mesh, but was asked to string the Antrea. Their website says that it strings similar to a men's pocket.

Does anyone have any specific tips or gotcha's?

Probably a Chisholm from the 50s-60s(?), that has been beaten up and played hard with, sanded down and beaten up again. It had no markings at all left on it, so I took the opportunity to go really custom with it. The last pic is a correction I made with how the nylons should be attached to the gut wall. The small loops that I thought were essentially sidewall stringing are actually “leather protectors”, when considering a very traditional all leather pocket, makes sense.

I want some feedback on this pattern I came up with… it’s a translation of a pocket I saw online with inside weave instead of knots. Got a Atom and some ECD SS 4th of July mesh for my birthday and tied it up pretty nicely. Deep mid pocket with snappy release.

HI, so i’m thinking of getting a kinetik 3 bc I love narrow heads, always felt like i had better hold and control, but ik its made for a mid high bc of the bottom rail but as an x attackman i like a mid to mid low so i can one hand cradle one more would this head still be able to get a mid low pocket?

We all know pounding out a pocket should be fast and is one of the most important parts of preparing the head. What’s the best pounding method you guys have used???

Been meaning to get this done. Love it. Release is perfect. Low whip. Snap. Heavy as hell. Reminds me of a time in lacrosse that’s long gone now.

Still not a fan of the bottom shooter which is why I haven’t cut it yet. How does the rest look? It’s definitely an improvement than what I posted yesterday. Now I just need to find more heads to string

I feel like every mark 3v pattern I’ve strung up has so much whip I don’t know what to do or how to string my 3v up with less whip it’s so irritating.
