Error / Bug I would like me a 419€ steamdeck
I really franatically clicked on it just to be greeted by the +700 € price. But yeah. A bug.

Yeah... I feel that. My condolences. Had enough money left over to slap a 1TB SSD in there too, for $130.
Feels like grabbing the last chopper out of 'nam.

Yeah sorry dude - it's a really solid bit of tech but the way prices are going you'd be doing extremely well to find anything at that cost.
If you've your heart set on it I'll save the money now and buy whenever you get a chance.
Some of the guys out of work have had luck buying second hand on public listings (obviously try before you buy)

no it's the price of the lowest end model they used to have but don't offer anymore, it still somehow shows up as the search price though (search price for all products on steam is always the lowest price, even if it is the price for a bundle or smth in case of the steam deck it was the low end model but it isn't an option to pick amymore but it still is there internally so it still get's shown)

Do you have any interest in buying my steam deck? I bought one of the original decks. 1tb, LCD screen. Less than 10 hours of use time. Maybe less than 5 honestly.
I have the original case, charger, and likely still have proof of purchase, so you don't think it's stolen.

I don't have one in mind honestly. I've just been toying with the thought lately. If you are genuinely interested, I can get it out tonight, make sure all is well and wipe it.
Maybe $500? Which I think converts to 373 pounds.
Im looking online and they seem to go for a bit more than that. I'll undercut those prices to make this quicker for me, and (hopefully) better for you.
If interested, I could also take pictures or a video of the deck operating with your username or something on a paper beside it.

500$ would indeed be a more then fair price for a 1 TB steamdeck in these times ( maybe at all times ), the only problem for me is that i don't have that much cash on hand at the moment. Also, my national currency has taken a pretty hard nose dive and yeah. If I had 500$ that I could spare right now , we would shake hands here and now. I appreciate the offer kind sir.

Right now? 100$. How much time it would take me? Maybe 6 months. I really think that if you price it at 500$ ( you would get away with 600$ since you have 1 tb ) some serious buyer with serious cash will snatch it right out of your hands. Don't waste your time on a bum like me. Appreciate your thoughts though.

I'll make you a deal. Get up to $350, I'll send it your way. Then send the other $150 within 3 months of getting the deck.
If something happens to your finances before you send the $150, tell me, send the deck back, and I'll refund your original $350.
If you like this and agree, just don't scam me. I know I could get more for the deck. I don't want every penny I can get, I just don't want to get scammed while trying to be nice.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Very good deal. But it'll take me some time to get the 350$. Not 6 months time, but some time. Also, I might randomly cancel out. I want to say that things might happen and maybe I won't be able to live up to the promise I made so you could put an add on ebay or something and I wouldn't mind if you sold it for the right offer to somebody else that will pay you right away.

Okay, I understand all that. I don't know if I'll list it for sale or not. It would be nice to have it gone and cash in hand, but I also like the idea of you having it. So I don't don't what I'll do.
If you guaranteed you'd get to $350 and want it, I'd happily hold it for then. But without that guarantee, it's harder for me.
I suppose just message me later on if you want to lock it in, and if I still have it, the deal will be done. And if I don't hear from you, that's okay too.

Man, i remember buying a used deck for 250€ 2 years ago. Seems like a steal now.
