Made a pit stop here yesterday while on vacation!

We haven't seen other potential survivors like Oppo Ranciscis or Quinlan Vos pop up, or Rahm Kota, so it seems like he might just be the last of them by 9 ABY (although even if it's unconfirmed I'd love to think Vos is still alive).

Suppose he escapes and survives somehow after getting betrayed by Sidious, I know we can't know for certain, but what are your theories about his next course of action?

Would be cool if Lucasfilm made an animated series about Luke

Thought it would be fun to make a little story with my new figure at the beach!

I"m selling off much of my old collection and I found these in a box and didn't know what was inside. The invoice says December of 1995, so I'm assuming that they are part of the Power of the Force 2 line and was an assortment of the early figures? The description on the invoice says "Stealth Figure Asst. Luke, DarthVad". Do these sets have any additional value by leaving them unopened in the box?

I tried to google them and look on eBay, but I can't find any information on them. If anyone can offer any information it would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t think that really negates anything that truly matters. I enjoyed Andor and I enjoyed drawing this piece (…as strenuous as it was!), and that’s all that matters to me.

You’ll never be perfect the first time you do something, though as long as you keep trying, that’s all that can be asked of you. So, I intend to keep trying and keep drawing more pics of my absolute GOAT of Star Wars, Cassian Andor.

Do you put a star wars film on when going to sleep and if so what's the pick?

I've seen a lot of general theories that Grogu is Yoda and Yaddle's child, which makes the most sense and I generally agree with, but I have another theory - that Yoda's species sends out the best and brightest of their force sensitive youth to be trained by the Jedi, or alternatively is exiling them.

Since the only examples of Yoda's species we see are incredibly strong in the force, I could totally see it being that case that when an infant that's particularly exceptional is born by their standards, they reach out through the force to the Jedi, and masters like Yoda sense it and come to pick up the child for training at the temple. It could be the case that it's something that's an honor, or alternatively it could be the opposite is true - force users are shunned by their kind for some reason, so they send them away.

I know Lucas made it clear that Yoda's species is off limits for backstory, but thought this might be an interesting concept to explore fan ideas about.

I absolutely loved this book as a kid. When I get some more time I'll try to post some pictures from the book!

I created this artwork for a Starwars exhibiton that was taking place on Instagram. Unfortunately, I didn't finish it in time, but I really liked the final result.

From left to right they are: Ahsoka Anakin Obi-wan Maul. I'm very paranoid they aren't recognisable but maybe I've been staring for too long!

Now that I've gotten a taste of what legends Thrawn was like, I find Disney star wars haters' criticisms of canon Thrawn to be really silly and hypocritical, people think that in legends he had depth and nuance and in canon he's just another generic bad guy, but in Disney canon he has motivations and goals of his own and really specific and personal reasons for joining the empire that are arguably not evil while in Heir to the Empire he feels like just another Vader or Palpatine, the way he's so comically evil that his entire crew are terrified of him and he kills them when they fail to capture the heroes and all of his backstory that he has in current canon doesn't seem to exist, nor does anything replacing it, as far as I can tell. Maybe another book in this trilogy will give him one, I'll find out soon.

Also while he's really smart and clever in canon it still feels believable most of the time when he deduces things but in this book he may as well be force sensitive with all the stuff he's able to figure out perfectly based on basically no evidence, how did this guy know EXACTLY who between Leia Han Lando and Chewie were moving onto which of the two ships and EXACTLY where Leia and Chewie would go next, based on absolutely nothing except how long the ships were docked for?

It just goes to show once again that people go into every star wars title that Disney produces already prepared to hate it. If THIS is considered the best star wars story and the gold standard for villains by people who think Disney star wars doesn't live up to legends then I for one am VERY happy that we have Disney canon instead.

Edit to clarify, I greatly enjoyed the parts of this book that surrounded the heroes, which were the majority of the book. My purpose in posting this isn't to call HTTE bad. I just think that Thrawn isn't the main thing it deserves to be remembered for when imo he's the weakest part of it. Overall I very much enjoyed HTTE, but I don't believe it deserves its reputation as the pinnacle of star wars books.
