I'm not going to say that Ilja is a bonafide main event superstar who needs to be main eventing Wrestlemania, but his in-ring work helped get the Smackdown midcard and by extension Carmelo Hayes over. Unless he's injured which we likely would've heard about by now, what excuse is there to bench him like this? Why not have be involved in Trick Williams' current storyline because they have history together? If he doesn't work on Smackdown, then move him to raw.

One of your best workers who got over entirely through his matches is cast aside for... what exactly? What has been so unbelievably compelling about WWE television that they have no room for a guy who can come out and fill up an easy 15-20 mins of television?

I'm gonna die on the hill that believes the Wyatt Sicks could have been so good, but we don't live in that world, unfortunately.

Less popular is my belief that Retribution started off really interesting as a way of NXT taking Smackdown hostage for contracts at the same time that AEW was blowing up.
