I learned how to write a resume a decade ago, formatted for a specific field. I am vehemently anti-ai, and will not use an AI tool to write for me. I have the brain power and skills to do it on my own, without draining valuable resources. I can't even get most places to look at my resumes, and I feel like they are well formatted, concise, and specific to the roles I am applying for.

So, recruiters of any field hiring right now, what exactly do you look for on a resume? Format, verbiage, diction, color, font, experiences, skills, anything.

I graduated with a high-school diploma in June, I'm 17 and won't turn 18 till August. Currently available 24/7, willing to work any positions and any shifts. I don't have any certifications or job experience and don't have my permit or drivers license. I have applied to a lot of the fast food and local retail stores already and haven't gotten any where. The starting salaries are $21-28 depending on the field. You just have to be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and reside in WA. That's it. Spokane Colleges just received a $5.75M Department of Labor grant to help people train for good-paying jobs in advanced manufacturing.

The grant covers all but $25 of the training cost and is being shared across several WA community colleges. It’s called the SCC5 grant.
