I started the channel to just yap about things ive read and topics related to it, my subs are mainly friends and family and my upload rate is basically when my fulltime job allows me to upload, my goal is a hundred sub by year end and i wanna know how realistic that is for a channel with this metric

Nearly 1 month into content creation, and 57 subs <3
It’s a huge encouragement and source of motivation to keep it going!

It’s been like that for 16 hours and I’m kinda worried it will be like that for future shorts. I’m new, I currently have 20 subs. I’m not really discouraged and I believe I have a long way to go. But is this normal ?

I'm getting around 30% of my views from the Philippines, and then smaller percentages from Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, etc.
Don't get me wrong—I don't care where my audience is from. However, I live in Germany, my content is in English, and at the beginning my videos were mostly being shown to European countries and the US. I was getting good views and great engagement.
Then YouTube and TikTok started pushing my videos to these Asian countries, and since then my videos haven't been performing nearly as well. I think it's mainly because people in those countries don't engage with my content very much.
For example, on a video with 10,000 views, I would barely get 10 likes and 1 comment. With a European or US audience, that same number of views would usually bring hundreds of comments and many more likes.
Has anyone experienced something similar? If so, were you able to fix it, and how?

I used to post short Minecraft facts and documented some crazy Minecraft achievements on this channel a few months ago and I was getting good views each short (only 12 uploaded). I even got some viral hits with 3m and 1m views but then I lost my spark and decided to quit the channel.
Until just recently when I decided to come back and upload more videos but as you can see they're all stuck at 0 views even tho they are completely original.
I took the decision to just make a new channel instead and try out there. But I want to understand what exactly went wrong here. I didn't change anything and I have no warnings or

Hi, I'm pretty new to youtube (posting), i usually watched videos. I made some videos that took off recently, so I'm an artist and I played a game called gartic phone on people's twitch streams, they reacted very happy or positively, and I keep those short clips and make reaction videos out of it, I sometimes draw fanart or draw a portrait of them in the vids. I got accepted into the youtube partner program like 3-5 days ago, I only have about 7-8 of these videos uploaded and I have about 14 made in general waiting to upload the rest. I just recently googled and heard it doesnt count as transformative. I really need some advice because It would be a very big shame to lose my channel or get demonetized after getting partner in such a short time frame, my channel gained 9k subs in about 2 weeks.
I can dm you my channel if that would help you, just message me on here, I would appreciate this so much ty.

I have no one really to celebrate it with, so doing it here haha.
Very chuffed. And motivated to push more. It’s just hard to Pursue this with TikTok and Instagram too along with 9-5😭
But yeh, keep going guys!

I didn't have the "watch page ads" set up in YouTube studio 🥲 so I'm guessing any revenue I get now will be as of today with the watch page ads activated?
As you can probably guess, this is all very new to me.

Hi everyone,
I can’t seem to grow. I read every day on new things to use, so every day my editing skills get better, but it feels like I get less views. I’ve hired someone for my thumbnails, I work on better hooks, I use cuts, I basically do everything, all internet tells me to do, but I am getting less views than before.
What to do?
(I have a gaming channel focused on l4d2, which I play at high difficulties.)

Because it is, I guess. This is a bit of me just venting, I guess. Otherwise, I’m very happy with my channel and my overall growth considering I’ve abandoned the channel for months (like four to five) at a time… several times.
I was very happy when I started my channel, found my niche, and steadily started growing. I got monetized within the year and as soon as that happened I disappeared for five months.
When I posted again, not thinking much I was surprised at how low the views were. Like barely even a fraction of what I used to get. It was a blow, and over the past couple years I wasn’t consistent, leaving again for months at a time, but still pulled okay numbers on views. Nothing like I used to.
This year I decided to get serious again. Posting every one to two weeks, cause that’s all I can do, though I am planning on sprinkling in more shorts.
I’m still seeing growth and recognizing a new audience that comes back consistently. I appreciate them. I hope that in a years time my views will be comparable to what it was years ago.
I also started another channel. It’s a baby, and boy does that make me appreciate all the hard work of getting started with a fractions of the tools I have. Like community posts lol. It’s rough out there as a baby channel.
Thanks for letting me vent a bit.

my first ever video on my channel was on a topic that was very interesting and not very talked about. i made this video and it was really bad in every way possible and didnt get many views at all. a few months later i have an established channel and video style with 8k subs and over 100k per video consistently.
i really liked the topic of my first ever video and i would like to recreate it with more effort and in my current video style.
is it a good idea to revisit this topic and redo it or should i just leave it?

I upload shorts 1 to 2 times a day and despite my shorts getting the same stats I always get (80% stayed to watch vs swiped away rate, 125% avd), my shorts are dying out at 700-1.1k views. I normally get 20k-125k views per short since the end of March.

Would you guys be interested in this ? Would it help people with your editing time?
the reason I built it cause I usually record and then a week or so later i edit, which means i need to go back and rewatch my recordings before i get any sense of idea what it was about or where to cut. This tool is just that, it goes through frame by frame with a VL model, that will then has a set profile setup it so it know what kind of content i want extracted, for this example was me playing palworld, so i want any parts of new discoveries, Progress (level up, new pals etc), Drama (fights, actions, conversations with npc) and funny (comedic scenes, deaths, ragdolls etc) . Then it bookmarks and creates notes for each scene it find relevant and arranges them from high score to low.
For now this is my personal project, open for ideas to make it better or share of interest on it. Thanks :D

I'd honestly really appreciate it if you guys can give your feedback and such about this video, because it's my first time making content like this! I know the video is a bit short, but the next ones are bound to be longer!
I would appreciate subscribing and liking the video, as well as commenting! Feedback wise, I'm looking for just what kind of stuff you guys would like to see, and what I should add in the editing wise-

I always thought getting a bunch of views and recognition would be the thing I would want from youtube but honestly, I've really enjoyed just seeing regulars in my comments section and interacting with fans. It feels super fulfilling and I look forward to that more than a video doing well. At a certain point numbers don't mean much anymore. I'm so thankful that my videos are fostering a community of people interested in the same thing.
