My sky kid may be a bit more feral than most

After the update, I used my iPhone to "fix" my nest. When I logged in to play on my Switch, only one item I put back was in its place. This is the first time I've used a phone to arrange my nest. Does one platform not communicate with the other? I know some purchases don't transfer but arranging my nest?

I like my sunflower corner, I think it adds a dash of extra colour to my Purple/Black scheme.

Wasn't sure whether to use the Updates flair or the Nest Screenshots flair, since this is a little of both. I never really thought about documenting the layout and design of my nest until a lot of it was removed due to an error in the 34.0 update that made the game think the decoration limit was lower than it should be.

But in the wake of having a bugged nest and now a restored nest, this post is partly to serve as a record for myself of what I had built in addition to letting you all know that today's update to the game was to address this issue.

Bless this community. Our united voices got this bug prioritized. I hope that everyone who was affected logs in to see their own beautiful and creative nests back to how they were!

It would appear that plenty of objects have a modified hitbox now too... May make it MUCH easier to stack objects, no longer needing certain aspects of stacking tricks.

I tagged it as humor because it can be fixed so no lasting damage but it was definitally also a shock (when i first saw it i just thought it didnt all load in 😅 )

I have my nest set as my home, so that's where I spawn in when I launch the game. Upon booting it up after the 34.0 update, I immediately notice that a good third of the items I had placed were not there, creating huge gaps and an overall strange look.

I have already complained to support, though who knows when I will hear back.

Pretending I'm going redecorate revealed that the furniture I had placed have been returned to my inventory. But I am still livid because 1: my nest was interfered with and 2: unless support can wave a wand and revert it, I will never be able to recreate what I had because it was built prior to the patch update that stripped the old exploit (and the new exploit does not work on the Steam PC version).

Feel free to vent if this happened to you too.

After almost a year of playing this game, I finally completed my nest!!

I decided to dye my main furniture yellow as I figured yellow would pair well with most of the nest props that aren’t dyeable (such as the sunflower table and sunflower ladder from days of bloom). Seems like yellow is Sky’s go to colour for clothes and props, and I’d rather have a matching colour theme, than dyeing it my fav colour but have it be mismatched.

Would love to have a blue themed nest one day as it’s my favourite colour, but I don’t have enough dye as I’ve just splurged most of it. One thing I know for sure though, is that this will probably be my nest layout for a long time. I’m way too satisfied with the arrangement of things for me to change it. If anything I’ll probably just change a few decorations here and there and dye the furniture a different colour if I tire looking at it.
