Taylor Fresh Foods made a $1 million donation to a Trump-aligned Super PAC and it's really paying dividends.

Did you see a positive test response?

5

u/thebigpink 4h ago

Is this a national brand? Never heard of it or see it in the store

6

u/Bulky_Specialist9645 4h ago

Yes. The also may Walmart marketplace salads and supply a lot of food services companies.

u/GloomyIndividual3965 3h ago

They supply lettuce and other produce to McDonald's, Burger King, Taco Bell, Jack in the box, and several other big chains. They also sell to Walmart, Target, Kroger, and Sysco.

If you eat out or buy lettuce anywhere other than a farmer's market there's a decent chance in came from them.

Dang didn’t know that well hope that isn’t true then

To me, that’s not that big of a deal. However, the visit to the white house the day before the FDA walked back their claims is what everyone should be screaming about. They walked into the White House and bought a pass from the Feds. The million dollar donation from 2024-2025 had nothing to do with this in my opinion.

u/No-Cause6559 3h ago

They also hired ex White House employees and pushed for deregulation … yeah that donation was just the start of the long line of corruption

They walked into the White House and bought a pass from the Feds.

Are you able to provide proof for this claim? I don't believe the meeting minutes or transcript has been released.

Not "I feel like" or "it seems like", but actual objective proof. I just imagine you wouldn't make a definitive claim without being able to prove it, that wouldn't be honest.

At some point in your life you’re going to have to learn to read between the lines my friend.

1

u/therealdanhill 1h ago

All conspiracy brained people say that.

1

u/2cool4skool369 1h ago

Are you implying that Trump being involved with corruption and fraud is a conspiracy?

1

u/therealdanhill 1h ago

Not in the specific cases where there is proof.

3

u/Bill_Belamy 4h ago

In the White House next to his donation check please.

No, not the false positive one that wasn't part of the recall.

Make it one from the recall batch

1

u/CinematicParadiso 4h ago

best part of all of this terribleness is I've learned to never buy Taylor Farms again

u/aLonelyBoyX 4h ago

He is rich. He probably only eats imported lettuce from some place that has the purest soil on Earth grown by top lettuce scientists from a college that most people could never afford to attend.

Oh yeah, I want a livestream of him just eating bag after bag of salad until he starts gussing all over the place.

1

u/VendettaKarma 2h ago

I’m here for it

1

u/Ithiaca 2h ago

A bag purchased at a grocery store not one he gets to bring on his own. A bag totally at random.

The CEO right after:

1

u/Own-Raisin5849 4h ago

My understanding is they are cooperating and pulled a lot of the product off shelves/recalled.

1

u/DanceClass898 4h ago

i still can't believe that Taco Bell giving people diarrhea was national news

2

u/TrailerHitch19 58m ago

Apparently I've been eating the tainted lettuce for years!

1

u/coastalmaine1970 4h ago

I think they should serve it at the next state dinner. Then trump won’t be the only one shitting himself

Fuckin hate lettuce to be fair lol

8

u/Alarmed-Bumblebee667 4h ago

Children hate lettuce.

1

u/FreeSirJeffrey 4h ago

A lot more adults hate lettuce after they've spent the last couple of weeks shitting through the eye of a needle.

1

u/TesticleSandwiches 4h ago

In fairness.

Very, very few adults eat lettuce without costing it in olive oil or a salad dressing.

22

u/EtheusRook 4h ago

Lettuce gets tested.

Lettuce deemed unsafe.

Check clears.

Lettuce deemed safe.

6

u/chocha84 4h ago

some how you don't believe election certifications, vaccines or trust college professors - but when the FDA finds the source who is the supplier for Taco Bell reverses their findings and the same day a RFK Jr says the problem has been resolved but doesn't say any facts you trust them. Insane.

0

u/H0SS_AGAINST 4h ago

When Trump's brain worm robot man FDA, you mean. Biden's FDA was "forcing" vaccinations and "not keeping our food safe (from safe food coloring)."

Here's the thing, either it's a blatant purchase of political favor or Trump's cuts have rendered the FDA incompetent... possibly probably both.

When have I ever said any of that? Show me a single comment.

What a massive reach.

2

u/underboobfunk 4h ago

How can we do that when your comment history is hidden?

3

u/IainwithanI 4h ago

It’s hidden because they’re an obvious troll.

Why are you bringing him up? TDS much?

0

u/FreeSirJeffrey 4h ago

I guess you're out of the loop here since the lettuce safety has everything to do with our Lord and Saviour, Donald.

2

u/IainwithanI 4h ago

You’re not very good at this trolling thing. Should probably quit while you’re behind.
