I kinda miss the old starter Sims that actually came with their own backstories, though. A bit sad that's gone. And well, just my personal selfish wish, but I really hope a Korean Sim gets added too. Not the typical yellow-skin, brightly dyed hair Asian Sims, though :)

I love finding tucked away areas in cities, so I built this townhouse/small business focusing on that concept. They're meant to be unassuming on the exterior, but when your sim pops around the corner, they can find a courtyard cafe attached to a small artisanal art shop/art studio. The townhouse has more eclectic interiors and gradually steps up to towards a tucked-away terraced garden. The garden room/library has two Victorian-style conservatory roofs and has a secret water closet behind a bookshelf.

Everything has been play-tested, including the small-business portion. Hope you enjoy!!

Was befriending Edith and this creature appears, not as the real Edith but as some sort of wierd dupe. This one shows up with the last name Trevino and is marked as an adult, so its a fraud. But yeah, first time I was genuinely unnerved for a minute lol. Just adding to the pile as I see this has happened to a lot of people

The theme of this school is Riches and Music and is the most powerful out of all my Schools.

First Floor: Bookcases, a Cauldron, and Seating. On the platform are Junior Wizard Stations, 2 Desks and a White board. Behind the stairs is the Teachers Office and Head of the whole school.

Second floor is a Dance floor, Some seating. A Platform with instruments to play music/ Sing. And last but not least, a nice simple bathroom.

|Queen's Night Life Series

Hello! I’m not new to the sims )been playing since the first one), but I’m new to building in the sense of not building the big box house lol. I’ve been able to figure out a lot on my own through trial and error, but I’m wondering if there is a way to create this type of in-wall shelf thing in the game without mods or cc. I do have some mods/cc but will not be downloading any more, so no need for suggestions please. If it’s not doable without, that’s ok, I just figured I’d ask for advice in case there’s a way I haven’t thought of! :)

Does anyone else realize how time literally feels like it disappears into thin air whilst playing this game? I’m sure it’s similar for other games but it’s honestly insane to me how 20 minutes feels like 5 and an hour feels like 20 minutes.

Like, genuinely it doesn’t feel right in my brain how quickly it goes by! I would love a study done on why it feels that way, or if any of you smarties on here can explain the reason I’d appreciate that too!

btw, I am aware that mindlessly doing something you enjoy can make time fly but this feels different to me, it’s like the blink of an eye is actually 3 hours 🤣

It’s always the families you least expect that end up being the favs :’) I started the Simmons family legacy out of pure boredom a few weeks ago- I never ever play in sulani or with the off the grid lot challenge so I figured why not put those together…

Alas, my beautiful family was born :’) what started with just mom, dad and their first child turned into a flourishing family of six (with another on the way!!) and a beautiful home made with love and 0 money cheats!

I did create the parents of my patriarch as well, they visit semi-regularly for extended stay overs to help out with the kids. I’m really looking forward to having a large household once the kids age up a bit and they can take family vacations and spend more time on other lots.

But for now I’m loving the chaos of their little world. :)

Today's Base Game update brings a pretty big quality-of-life update for The Sims 4.

The biggest additions are Autosave and Save Reminders, both available across all platforms. Autosave now creates save points automatically at key moments, while Save Reminders can be customized to nudge players to save at the intervals they choose.

Memory Boost is also now available on all platforms, with improvements aimed at smoother gameplay, better performance, reduced lag, and more stability, especially in longer play sessions and larger or older saves.

This update adds free content, including eight new Starter Sims, culturally inspired Create-a-Sim accessories, and the Coach Repurposed Capsule, alongside the release of The Sims 4 Music Den Kit. Additionally, players on PlayStation get Marketplace Quick Buy, while all players receive new notification controls and more swatches for the City Living “YumCooker (Used)” stove.

On the bug-fix side, we've got fixes for several of the community’s most-voted issues, including the corrupted lots / residential rentals issue, disappearing roof sections in Build Mode, and two crash fixes.

Just a 1 bed 1 bath home that I built for a single female sim (pictured in the walk in closet lol). I just love this house so much. It could use a little more decor, but its so cute imo. Maybe it's just me, but i love this so much.

I forgor to take a picture because I was tired as crap before I saved and quit.

I did take a video I'm excited to edit of the gender reveal and birth. Of course she went into labour right after. Poor girl didn't even have her own slice of cake yet.

Her twin sister just moved into her boyfriend's house and asks if she can move in. *???* We just brought home the baby after the emergency c-section and mom and dad offered to watch her just to have sex in our bed. I put a bed in the spare room/play room but ok. So sorry sis, no room for any extra mouths to feed right this second. We also have the kitty.

We're supposed to be besties and I'm stuck with the constant guilt trip.

I'm a bit confused... maybe it's because of the update and I downloaded the new pack I bought (My Wedding Stories) just before the update notification, then had to do the update to get access to the game at all. I thought if I uninstall and reinstall the pack (yeah I know lol) maybe the new pack notification at the start of the game would show up but it didn't.

Maybe it's just because of the update but if anyone has the new function intro/welcome in-game screen screenshot saved anywhere, it would be so cool if you share it with me. I googled around a little bit but since I don't know what this screen is called properly I didn't have any results for what I wanted

I know it's silly but this screen with some function overviews and pictures always excited me a lot. For me it was/is like the little booklet that used to come with games lol. Just added to the experience
