Censoring site name due to rule 6. Not sure about other domains.

So for context the alias would be on my own domain or just a generic Proton Mail address?

Sometimes I get an important email on an alias that was turned off, but then there's no way to see it.

Example, to avoid spam from a webshop, I turn off their alias, but when ordering, I briefly turn it on to get the confirmation email. Sometimes I forget to turn it on or there's a notification like your package is delayed and will be delivered at a pickup point, see the email for more details.

Now there's no way to get back to that email and I need to contact the webshop to get that details.

So feature request - it would be really nice if it was possible to quarantine emails for 7 days rather than outright deleting it and after 7 days, they disappear into the void. That gives you 7 days to turn on the alias and receive any pending emails or have specific emails delivered.

So has the email actually been sent, just not from the alias, or did it not send at all?

Also, I'm a bit confused about Authorized addresses. It says, "Emails sent from these addresses to a reverse alias are considered as being sent from [email protected]." If these are separate email accounts, does that mean they're somehow linked to my main Proton account through SimpleLogin? I'd appreciate any clarification. Thanks!

Hey, just wondering if there's an better way to do this or if I'm missing something.

Right now, whenever I want to send an email from an alias, I have to open the dashboard, go to the alias, click Contacts, and manually add the recipient's email first. And if I want to create a new email alias, I have to go back into the dashboard for that too.

Is there a faster workflow for either of these, or is that just how it's supposed to work?

After changing accounts in Shopify from one Gmail to another, it's no longer possible to login again. There's an endless loop Shopify-Gmail without ever logging to admin console. Anyone has solved this issue. Tried in private mode still not working. Tried a different browser it does not work as well.

The last stable Docker image for SimpleLogin is 3.4.0, and it's 5 years old now. The last beta is over 3 years ago. When will it be updated?

This is why I prefer SimpleLogin and Proton.

My Playstation account was stolen from me recently so I'm doubling down on privacy when it comes to emails and such.

I'm wondering if using an alias with simplelogin for gaming purposes be better, or just make a secondary Protonmail email address?

Hello, in the past week or so I've noticed that gmail is marking the inbound email using simplelogin as SPAM. Emails that previously were not!

Anyone else having this issue and know what's going on?

I have one sender/spammer that keeps sending me stuff from different emails. While I'd love to turn off the wildcard for that address I can't at the moment.

What happens if I've created a bunch of Simplelogin aliases through Proton and want to now switch email providers?

In this hypothetical I'd be fine paying for Simplelogin as a separate service (I get it bundled with Proton right now) so I could continue to make and use new aliases.

I just can't really wrap my head around how to transfer Simplelogin aliases from one provider to another.

My goal is to set up email aliases on my own domain.

Here are the steps I've already taken:
- Purchased my domain from OVH (without an associated email address)
- Purchased Proton Pass + Simple Login Lifetime
- Configured my domain in Simple Login; all steps are successful.

Now I'm unsure what to do next.
My questions:
- Where do I create the primary email address, for example: [email protected]?
- Where do I specify that the aliases should be redirected to [email protected]?
- Where will I be able to view emails sent to the aliases?

I am a 6-month user of SimpleLogin and so far I really like the service. I must admit, however, that I find some of the instructions or user manual documentation to be difficult to understand.

My question relates to reverse-aliases. Specifically, can I use one SL alias to communicate with multiple senders?

For example, if I use a SL alias for a bank. I successfully receive my updates from “[email protected]”. But then I have a customer service interaction where I get an email from “[email protected]”. No problem, it is received and I can set up a reverse-alias for the latter email to reply to them.

But then I receive an email, again from the same bank, from “[email protected]” asking whether my support ticket has been closed? How would I reply to this email if the reverse-alias has been set to “[email protected]”?

Is SL able to handle situations like this? Is there a way to have multiple reverse-aliases for one SL alias? Does SL set this up automatically?

My main email keeps showing up in data breaches, so I want to make a unique SimpleLogin alias just for Steam, I have premium through Proton btw. Does Steam play nice with SimpleLogin, or do they flag them as disposable emails? Just trying to make sure I don't get locked out of my account before I switch it over. Anyone doing this right now?

So, I am trying to create a new contact for me to get the reverse-email to be used, but I am not getting any, this is the web page that I am getting and it absolutely makes no sense. Do I need to be a premium for me to create a reverse email if that email hasn't sent me anything yet?

I'm just starting to use Simplelogin but I'm not sure how to go about it. Should I make a new login for every single account or do I make an alias for each category such as for stores/shopping, subscriptions, social media, etc.?
