The storms, swells and the seas the ship would’ve gone through to reach here. A globetrotting vessel tied to a bollard that belongs to the Spanish Land.

I disembarked from the ferry this morning. Just a few minutes after 10 AM, no sooner had the Elyros cast off from the quay for her daily journey back to Piraeus than she collided with the incoming cargo ship, Iosif K.

I need them for a 3d modeling project. If anyone knows where I can find them that would be amazing.

Hey y'all, I recently watched Greyhound again, rewatched some Dunkirk scenes, and got into a bit of a rabbit hole about WWII ships, so I figured it was the right time to ask this question. I love ships, of all types: military, cargo, cruise ships a little less given my experience with them wasn't the best, but regardless, I love ships.

Are there books you might recommend, YouTube channels, websites or other resources to learn more about the topic, that isn't just a Wikipedia dive (unless Wikipedia dives are actually recommended)? I want to learn about famous ships like the Edmund Fitzgerald, the Carpathia, the USS Johnston, and I want to learn how they work - I wanna get really deep into it! Thank you for any answers!

My photos. BLR is the oldest commissioned ship that is still in active service in the U.S. Navy and is assigned to the U.S. SEVENTH Fleet in Yokosuka, Japan. There are my photos from a previous patrol.

19/07/26- Around 1pm today some sort of collision took place between the BG Freight line orange and the Wind orca causing a crane to collapse on to the bridge, you can also see extensive damage to the containers at the bow section of the bridge.
1 person was injured and rushed to hospital.

Update: So it appears the Wind Orca hit the BG Orange as she was manoeuvring to leave port causing the Orange to then hit the dock/ crane subsequently leading to the damage we can see.

Hopefully as more information comes out we can find out what went on.

There is a MAIB investigation currently underway and the Tyne is currently closed.

Edit: also there might be a bit of environmental damage as on nearby beaches there is a lot of plastic pellets washing up.

This here is a picture I took of MV AVILLA while at anchorage, she looks beautiful as she was intimidating from the position, right behind us of less than a mile, having the same almost the bearing as us (2 degrees towards the east than ours).
