First ever completely random shiny in SwSh, one of my favourite shinies too! Very happy, very surprised

I love Torkoal, I set up this savannah zone in order to maybe get one for the at least the last three Safari Weeks I’ve participated in.
I was fully prepared for it to run, especially after 3 balls with no shakes. But I actually caught him!

What a grueling phase which took long weeks. Decided to do a couple more encounters than I had planned... Great! 🥳

Started hunting for this Turtwig on the 17th of April this year, today it finally shined at 2574 encounters!

Since I was hunting on a single console, the estimated hours for this hunt was approximately 85hrs.

It's been an hour later since I found this, and I'm still in disbelief that the dreaded briefcase simulator is finally over!

What is the worst shiny encounter?

Riiiight a shiny that's impossible to catch.

I play the battle factory for over a year to beat it. It was one of my hardest pk challenges. Got me finally my gold pass so it was worst the time~

The shiny was a nice suprise but it makes sense cause the ev values are not fixed.

I also did 2006 sr for this before finding oshawott as well as 10 sr for a trainer ID. Thinking of naming it Chubbs. After I play through white normally I can now immediately start my b2w2 dream team quests!

FINALLY!!! After 7 days of hunting it's now finally here!! Now I can finally leave this place and continue the solo gym challenge for Dunsparce! 🥹✨

To be honest I wasn't planning to shiny hunt this Electrode but I figured out that they will never respawn again so that's why I ended up trying anyways.

I'm also glad that this Electrode doesn't know self destructing moves as if they were meant to be shiny hunted. 🫠

Shiny Magmar this time on my soulsilver copy. Fled after 4 balls. Phase 5 for Lairon. All my hgss shinies love to run from me lol

I posted on here about 2 weeks ago that i accidentally reset over shiny lugia on soul silver. Well ladies and gentleman, im glad to say i redeemed myself and have hit and caught! I can finally continue my play through with Valentine

Trials and tribulations. Lapras was one of the most challenging ones I’ve done recently since they take a good bit of time to hatch. I also stopped counting after 10,000 eggs lol. After finally breaking through, my next 2 (Alolan Vulpix and Bagon) were blessed by the shiny Gods n came up in less than about 200. Shoutout determination :’)

I failed a first chain with like 140 or sum

Then did a second one and got it with only a chain of 28

The same thing kinda happened with mankey

Managed to get one of my favourite shinies (especially Emboar) within the same week I decided to start this journey, was just doing some resets whilst at work and managed to get him to shine in ~280 resets. Very happy with the nature as well to help with Emboars speed stat later down the line! Next member of the hunt will be petilil after gym one, cant wait!

After starting a new japanese ruby file to do a dream team quest and finding my torchic a little over odds, I decided to hunt my second member in granit cave: Either Mawile or Aron (the one I don't find will be the hunt for the sixth member in Vlvictory road).

10,000 encounters later, I stopped to do a little pause and work further on my 100 % emerald and visit the battle frontier for gold. Well... In the battle factory, I found this green dragon (which didn't have a good move set). And after failing my task for gold in the beginning of the final round, I'm back in ruby, hoping the luck will somehow transfer over :D
