Selling Tickets Posts

There have been a growing number of "Selling Tickets" posts. I am opining this up to a vote and a discussion as to if this should be allowed. This sub is initially intended for the Seattle local music scene. While this, in theory, could include the sake of two tickets to a Backstreet Boys concert, because they are playing in Seattle, this definition really stretches the meaning.

Band Seeking Drummer (ROCK/METAL)

Hey everyone! My band Blood Rising is looking to get back in action with a drummer to complete our lineup. We're a young (late teens-early twenties) group based in the Bothell/Mill Creek and general Eastside area. We have a couple of gigs and a ton original music under our belt, and our focus is to ramp that up even more. Our sound mixes hard rock, heavy metal, groove metal, and sprinklings if early punk (influenced by QOTSA, Pantera, Metallica, CKY, Black Sabbath).

We have a practice space with a drum kit. If interested, please contact us, and I can send some demos of our current songs.

Looking for Musicians to Create Original Music

I have quite a bit of live experience performing as a vocalist and backing guitarist in cover bands, but now that I’m starting college, I want to take music more seriously and begin creating original work.

I’m inspired by artists like Malcolm Todd, Steve Lacy, and d4vd—music that blends indie, alternative R&B, bedroom pop, and emotional, atmospheric songwriting. I don’t want to copy one particular sound, though. I’d like to study music together, experiment, and gradually develop something that feels like our own.

It doesn’t matter what instrument you play or what your specific role is. I’m looking for people who can teach me more about songwriting and music production, or who are willing to learn and develop those skills together from the ground up. Experience is welcome, but curiosity, creativity, and genuine commitment matter more.

My goal is to write and record original songs, rehearse consistently, and eventually perform around UW and Seattle. If you’re interested, message me with a little about yourself, the music you enjoy, and what you’d like to create. Feel free to reach out via reddit dm or Instagram: @ laoecim

I love the band I’m in (I play drums) but I really miss playing guitar In a project.

I’m itching to maybe do a fun new project. Something Title Fight, Iron Chic, Nothing, inspired.

I love heavy gaze, d beat, melodic sad fucking bastard musics

I dunno. Hit me up maybe if enough people have same inspo we can make it happen.

Looking to Build a Band

Looking for a drummer, a bass player, and a guitar player.

I’m a 30 tear old singer and piano player who has been writing rock music for the last 8 years and finally decided to start producing the music I’ve written. The genre ranges from pop-punk to posthardcore ballads and some elements of djent and metal but very melodic. I’m almost done producing 9 songs, and just had my first live show.

I’d like to build a band to play these songs live and to continue writing and creating as a group.

Hmu if you’re interested, and check out my insta @novadiamondmusic if you want some examples of the music I’ve written.

We’re looking for someone 18-25 and the only rules are you have to be friends with us and no conservatives allowed. The band is Montana Pool Service.
