Does anyone think Scream Queens Season 3 is still a real possibility?
I know the official Scream Queens social media hasn't posted in a couple of years, but the fanbase is clearly still there. Every time the show gets brought up, people are asking for another season. Ryan Murphy has also talked in the past about wanting to revive it if the timing and rights worked out, and several cast members have said they'd be interested in returning.
Do you think there's still a chance, or has too much time passed? If it did come back, would you rather see a full Season 3, a limited series, or even a movie?

Hi everyone, I'm a new SQ G fan and I have loved s1 and I started the first episode of s2, it feels too different and inacurate, it is boring to me. So I got into another show. Should I keep watching and is the rest of the series worth watching ? NO SPOILERS PLS

I have never felt more stupid in my life.
I was talking to my husband about an article I randomly came across about Ariana Grande dropping out of the next season of AHS. Never knew she was gonna be in it- but then that lead to a conversation about Scream Queens and I had to inform him Billie Lourd was in SQ. I described her as “the Channel with the ear muffs”.
As I’m looking for pictures to show him of Billie with ear muffs, it clicked. How in the actual f@&k did I never put 2&2 together that her ear muffs were a nod to her mom in Star Wars??????????????? Omg I’m gagged at how stupid I am to have never clocked that reference till tonight.

Is Scream Queens coming back??? 😄

In my opinion, the best scene is the cotton ball lunch scene. Chanel perfectly summarized the sexist double standard when it comes to weight when she said, "Guys can be as porky as they want, and we still like them. I'm as skinny as Karen Carpenter in the morgue, and Chad Radwell still won't commit to me."

I can only think of one, and it's "I'm as skinny as Karen Carpenter in the morgue" although the shock of it did make me laugh, I admit, it was fucked.

My first theory was Chanel 2 and Boone. Either they were lovers (we would be lead to believe the baby was a boy but it was a girl) or they were siblings.
My second was Grace and Gigi for some reason. At least until she started making moves on Wes. That would have been such cute stepmom/stepdughter bonding though.
I briefly thought Zayday and Earl were siblings after the reveal that there were 2 babies but remembered Amy was white and they were quite dark skinned (not impossible though).
And it was obvious Dean Munsch was a killer. It was all but confirmed that she killed the previous Dean.
Ultimately I wish it was Grace and Zayday. Especially after hearing what a bitch Leah Michelle was bts. Shame as I really like Hester.

I just rewatched again S1 and S2 and the show is still hillarious even after all these years. I think it would do even better now in the mid 2020s with all the tik tok edits. It's a shame there's no sign of S3 happening soon. I think if it aired directly on netflix it would perform much better

I know the Chanels weren't an example of friendship and that they always mocked Chanel #5 but honestly sometimes it reached the point where the jokes weren't funny and just made me feel sorry for her.
I mean it was funny when she was bleeding on the floor and Chanel was like 'stop making this about you' lol, but I genuinly felt bad when chanel and #3 decided to cheat on their tests but never told #5 - luckily #5 actually learned something and she was smart so she passed, and ofc no one celebrated that - or when no one gave a fuck that cassidy murdered tyler (well no one seemed to mind he waa a murderer at all lol). Gosh when I think that her parents lied that she was adopted becsuse they didn't love her 😭 whaaat, that was funny as hell imo but I also felt so bad for her

He was one of my fav characters on s2, he was so sweet🥹 I don't think any character's death...affected me? As much as this one, and also felt super sad for Tyler's. I think we all agree that s2 is awful but ironically I think I never felt bad for any death on s1 lol

So ofc this is a Ryan Murphy's show and a satire at that, and I'm sure there are tons of plot holes I'm not even realizing buuut there are two things in psrticular that feel off and bother me:
So, Hester and Gigi wanted revenge...why not kill Munsch? I know they tried once and failed, but they should’ve tried harder with her, since after all she’s the one who covered up what happened at Kappa. I’d say she’s even more responsible than the idiots who left the girl to die in the bathtub.
I admit I haven't rewatched s2 but I remember BEING SO PISSED OFF BC why is Wes taking revenge on the Chanels and following Hester's instructions when Hester was the main responsible for Grace ending up in the psych ward?? The Chanels are horrible, yes, but what drove Grace insane - what traumatized her - were the things done by the Red Devils. He could even blame Munsch for allowing it to happen, since she basically knew from the beginning who the Red Devil was—and even if she didn’t, she was mostly worried about covering her own ass, but I don't remember if he was aware of her involving.
Btw sorry for any grammatical mistake❤️🩹

Okay, I know everybody says “bring back Scream Queens,” but most season 3 ideas just sound like season 1 in a different wig.
It makes perfect Scream Queens sense. America gets tired of normal politicians and somehow elects the one woman arrogant enough, brilliant enough, and insane enough to call herself President Dean Doctor Cathy Munsch with a completely straight face.
But once she gets to the White House, everything is already a mess behind the scenes. Staff leaks. Missing interns. Cabinet scandals. A PR disaster every other hour. Approval ratings circling the drain. So Munsch does the most unhinged possible thing and brings in the only people she trusts:
the Chanels.
https://youtu.be/sQ4t4vy8V8s?si=rg2borXP_zgg7VYR
would be comedy gold. Every press briefing would feel like a public execution.
Chanel #3 is some bizarre spiritual wellness adviser who keeps saying things that sound insane and then turn out to be true.
Chanel #5 is the White House physician and is stressed to the point of human collapse.
Zayday is Chief of Staff because somebody on this show has to be the adult.
And no, don’t bring back the Red Devil. Give season 3 its own icon.
A cracked green gown. Crown tilted sideways. Red lips. Torch in one hand, blade in the other. Instant classic. Campy, creepy, memorable, merch-able. The kind of design this show was born to do.
Lady Liberty starts targeting everyone connected to a buried scandal from Munsch’s past: a secret elite women’s leadership program she ran in D.C. in the 90s that ended with one girl dead, one girl missing, and the whole thing covered up by rich families who are now senators, donors, judges, media moguls, all of it.
That gives you the perfect setup because the White House already has everything Scream Queens needs:
secret tunnels, ridiculous egos, old-money psychopaths, gorgeous coats, insane photo ops, creepy historic rooms, and the constant feeling that everyone is lying.
The deaths could be huge and stupid in the best way:
a donor baked into a giant inaugural cake
someone slaughtered during the White House Easter Egg Roll
a cabinet member posed in the Lincoln Bedroom like a presidential portrait
a state dinner massacre while some twisted orchestral version of “Hail to the Chief” is playing
And halfway through the season, when the body count gets too high, Munsch realizes the only person who can profile a theatrical female serial killer is another theatrical female serial killer, so she has to go consult Hester in federal psychiatric prison, pardons her, and makes her something important. Tell me that is not exactly the kind of deranged fan service this show should be doing.
The best part is the reveal should be that Lady Liberty is two killers.
One is killing for revenge over the girl who died in Munsch’s old program.
The other is killing to protect Munsch’s presidency because they genuinely believe she is the only person monstrous enough to save the country.
That’s such a good Scream Queens twist because it stops being just “who’s the killer?” and turns into “what does power do to women who are already this extreme?” It keeps the camp, but it also gives Jamie Lee Curtis something sharp to play in the finale.
And just visually? Come on.
Jamie Lee Curtis as a feral president.
Emma Roberts in White House couture behind a podium.
Keke Palmer running the West Wing.
Niecy Nash running Secret Service.
Lea Michele behind glass like a Hannibal Lecter psychopath.
That is not a random reboot idea. That is a season.
Call it SCREAM QUEENS: 1600.
Ryan Murphy, respectfully, the blueprint is right here.
