Fan art Thunder-Striking-Clanker-Smasher

I was listening to this I got into vibes and I created a picture of Scrap Mechanic version of THUNDER-STRIKING-CLANKER-SMASHER
Edit: This pic is not AI. I just took a sledgehammer pic from scrap mechanic wiki, upscaled it and then added glow, and godrays in Inkscape.

Discussion The modpack continuation worry
We have less then 48 hours untill 1.0 drops. Do you think that The modpack continuation will be updated to 1.0? Last commit was on 18th of Nov 2024 19:12:38 from timezone -8 and by user QuestionableM. Before then there were regullar commits. After that. Nothing. I worry becouse I am using the modpack in all my creations and I also want to use some of the new blocks in them.

more connectic
i dont know you but i realy hope that we get more option for connecting stuf together like for example a specila seat that give you the option to reprogram the botton (like wasd) to the arow keys to have less botons on the other bar and juste more controle on your creation it would be so cool a bit like a seat that you could find in eavyduty constructions cite

Discussion About Buckets Spoiler
i asked J0hnbane to test if Buckets are still Indestructable.
And it turns out...
They Break ! Finaly, so one less Cheese :D
Awsome.
In case someone doesnt knew it, buckets are / was indestructable ( has nothing todo with durcability ).
So it was possible to use it as a cheap Fencewall and no enemys was able to reach your crops.
but that is now "fixed" ( in "" because its not realy a bug that needed a fix but a gamelogic hole )

Discussion I’m Ready for chapter 2
Ever since I heard of the full release announcement had me speed-running my pc parts hunting. From hearing the words “tomorrow” activated the winter soldier in me to get it done.
As of now 22nd of July and running the latest early access that I’ve been playing on my steam deck for a while. I’ve gone from average 60 fps to 160 fps and the best part is when I was in my base and I took out my big fat delivery truck my fps dropped to a measly 10, but now my new PC can tank it at 90fps.
I’d say with my Ryzen 7 9700x with 9060xt 16gb I’m more than prepared to start hammering down some clankers and chuggin’ sunshakes with our rudy rhod look alike.
Cheers to all you mechanics 🍻

Dropping items on the ground…
This isn’t a super serious post, I just need to vent into the aether somewhere.
I have been watching a few youtubers play the early release and so many of them just toss stuff (like unique parts) on the ground without even unlocking the schematics. like, it’s a building game! place it down so you can come back and grab it later, or even better, build the early game chests if you need to be a loot goblin so bad that your inventory is overflowing at all times!
Alright, rant over. I am eagerly awaiting release so I can play the game “correctly”. (jk)

Creators having early access
For some reason I go onto the steam discussions and see a few of people complaining about content creators getting chapter 2 early. Is this a common consciences or is this the minority because I don't see a problem with it. Its just to show off the new update before it lunches to create hype. Creators got EA to survival when it first launched 6 years ago so why now is it a issue? Just wanted more opinions on it that aren't the same people under every discussion board on steam.

Discussion How many people want theirs current survival world progress(mostly blocks, parts, baes and resources) to transfer to 1.0? Or would you rather play from scratch ?

Suggestion Wish hunger and Thirst could be toggeable, maybe as in a "Hardcore mode".
I know I'm on the minority here but I actually liked how hunger and thirst worked in this game, how some foods gave you a lot of one but not the other and you have to balance it out, it also is a good incentive for automating farming that now it won't exist anymore.
Sure, it gives you more freedom to explore the game and for many, is a worthy tradeoff, but for me, I found the mechanic pretty neat and wish I could choose if i toggle it on or not.
