Answered Places to park for a full weekend?

I'm going to be in Scranton for Thursday thru Sunday one weekend next month. I saw parking garages are $15 daily rates, but I was wondering if there's businesses I could park at instead for free like Walgreens or Walmart. Would they tow? And is Scranton a relatively safe area that I could leave my car in a lot for several days with no worries? Just trying to minimize my costs but will dish out the $50 for weekend parking if needed

TIA!

Downtown Wife (27) and I (32) just moved to the area and looking to make friends

Just like the title says my wife and I just moved to the area, and we are looking to make some friends. We enjoy weekly movie nights, bar/brewery trivia nights, and weekend concerts/festivals. We go to Allentown/Philly/New York often for comedy and concerts, but definitely looking to get more into the local scene. We are big foodies and are always looking for new spots to check out. Big outdoor people as well. We both love plants so will probably be trying to join a local community garden group soon. Any recommendations on groups/clubs to check out are much appreciated!
Shot in the dark here but figured I would give it a try. Take it easy on some friendless losers 🤟🥲

Local News Questions raised over safety report during 4th hearing for proposed Archbald power plant

Please note this hearing is for a power plant facility:

"Council and parties questioned why the document repeatedly refers to a data center rather than a natural gas power plant. One section of the report states, “it is our opinion the site be developed for a potential data center,” without mentioning a power plant. Another portion describes two-story steel-framed warehouse-style data center buildings, parking lots, access roads and stormwater basins."
