ACT is much easier then SAT

As someone who has taken both SAT and ACT, I must say I think the ACT is much easier. I got a 1520 SAT and a 35 ACT, and the ACT is both a better score and took less practicing. I think as long as you can get around a 32-33 math on the ACT, a 34 is easily achievable, because the reading and English is so much easier on the ACT. I have friends with 34's who wouldn't break 1370 on the SAT. Does anyone here disagree?

Can you climb to 1500 from a 1210 practice test score for a self-learning beginner?

I don’t have anyone to help me teach this and I have to learn it myself plus I have no motivation to study for SAT even though I am taking it in 2 months and I got 1210 in my practice test, any tips and guidance?

taking sat as a senior

I was supposed to take the sat my junior year, but never got around to signing up… i start senior year in like two weeks. is it still worth taking? a lot of my friends got into schools without taking it, but my other stats aren’t too impressive. i don’t really care about getting into a super prestigious school i’d just like to get some merit scholarships

How many months of practice do you need for 1500+?

This is the first time I’m giving SATs, and I was just wondering how many months of practice top scorers had before giving the SATs.

I can probably crack 750+ in math with practice of things I am getting wrong but I suck at SAT English> I try everything but I majorly struggle in reading. Grammar is fine but Vocabulary, reading and all I just always get it wrong. Is there a way I can as a dummy master English. I know lots of practise BUT ITS USELESS IF I GET IT WRONG EVERY TIME CAUSE I THINK SURELY B IS THE RIGHT ANSWER THIS TIME AND ITS C. So any way someone who is really bad at SAT english can master and crack 700+ on it

Need advice improving from a 1030 before the August SAT

Hello! so back in may I took practice test 4 and got a 1030 which was 510 in R&W and 520 in math. My goal is just to get within the 1200-1350 range. Is that still possible if I really start studying now, considering my SAT is on August 22? ( I haven't prep/reviewed at all until 2 days ago.) I want to mention that I recently started using one prep pro but i'm not sure if that alone is enough to get me within the 1200-1350 range.

If yall have any other suggestions please let me know :)

Best way to prepare for the Digital SAT from scratch? (Resources + Study Plan)

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to prepare for the Digital SAT and I'm aiming for a 1500+ score.

I have a strong background in math and science, but English isn't my first language, so I expect the Reading & Writing section to be more challenging.

I'd appreciate advice from people who scored 1500+ or significantly improved their scores.

Here are a few questions:

  • Which books are actually worth buying? (Erica Meltzer, College Panda, Princeton Review, Barron's, etc.)
  • Is Khan Academy + Bluebook enough, or should I use additional resources?
  • What's the best order to study the syllabus?
  • How many months did you prepare, and how many hours per day?
  • What mistakes do most first-time SAT students make?
  • Are there any underrated resources or study techniques that helped you?
  • How did you improve your Reading & Writing speed and vocabulary?

I'd also love to see your complete study plan if you're willing to share it.

Thanks in advance!

help with the sat schedule I created

Hi guys! I’m a rising senior studying intensely for the SAT in September. I scored a 1020 on my most recent practice test, but I’ve officially started studying. Before I continue, I wanted to ask if the study schedule I created, which combines Khan Academy with the College Board SAT Question Bank, seems like the right approach or if I’m doing too much. Looking at it now, I feel like I might be slowing myself down. Do you think this plan is sufficient, or should I make any changes?

Student on IPad Cannot Enter Decimals in Math

He showed me the screen. Decimals will not enter, and there is no option to show the on screen keyboard in Bluebook.

I told him to call Collegeboard Wednesday. However, has anyone experienced this and knows a fix?

score improvement

Hey y'all so I recently took practice 4 and got a 1350 (720/630). I've been semi dedicated with my sat for the last month and a half, and will definitely put in more time in my future. Realistically the goal is +1400 but I obviously want to do as good as I can.
- my strategy I've been currently doing is starting from the very very beginning of Khan's academy DSAT prep and watching every video lesson of every math top and doing it's associated questions. So for this specific topic area, does anyone have any experience of doing the exact same thing in terms of my study method and how did it turn out for you after you either completed the entire course (or at least 90%) or decided you were scoring high enough to test before finishing? Side not I have bot touched Anything on the reading/ writing portion simply because I really Don't know how I can improve.
Also quick add/blurbs: did anyone have any experience/ trouble on the on the math portion of the exam NOT being able to put certain characters like "" Or
"'"? I was using a lpad air (5th gen if we're getting specific) and for some frustrating reason, it wasn't letting me use those characters on some questions(they were the right answers.
So more is in accurate to a degree. Now my bigger concern is that I'm going to run into the same problem on an actual exam.
-Lastly anyone have any experience dealing with "SchoolHouse" that's run by khan academy? Wondering if that's worth signing up for. I would be interested in a tutor, but I'm definitely not interested in paying an exuberant price tag (this isn't the MCAT). My requirements is that you speak English perfectly, that you can verify that you have scored at minimum a 1500, and you can FaceTime. I won't be putting out PIl in the post but if you are interested please DM privately me and I can give out more information about myself If you require it. Lastly, do not spam the comment section on the subject of tutoring please.
If you made it this far thank you for taking the time out of your day to read

How much can you raise your score in a year with consistent and hardworking studying?

I am a rising junior and I had a score in the 1100s without studying last year in the fall due to mental health reasons, I was in a bad space, I’m getting better, in BUT I have been studying ever since summer started and I am determined to get a high score by the time I apply, so I was asking how much could you raise your score if you spend a year studying a lot, well, and hard

How to make studying for R&W less boring?

I’ve been doing khan academy and got up to the advanced units but it’s hard to actually do them because they’re so boring. (Not like too easy boring like too hard boring)
