We've had a decent amount of you asking us to change up the 2 allowed sticky posts that we have so what better way to change them than to allow you to vote on them! Below is 4 options to choose from with the 4th being your own choice and the 2 with the most up votes at the end of the poll in 7 days will win!

I recently got super into watching lectures from Harvard, Stanford, Yale, etc. on youtube and it makes me sad sometimes that online students dont get these kinds of interactions. Do you have any favorites that you've seen?
Some of my recent watches have been
"Jutice: What's the right thing to do?" (I'm currently in the middle of episode 2) from Harvard University.
"The Good Life: Happiness" from Yale
"Chaos and Reductionism" from Stanford

Graduated from this school 3 years ago and did super well. Honestly, because of SNHU I’ve gained a lot of confidence when it comes to career goals! But I’m struggling a lot to find a good career and was wondering if reaching out to them about certain jobs I’ve applied to that match my experiences would help or at least get me an interview. I know the school doesn’t owe me anything, but I think with how the job market is, I don’t think it doesn’t hurt to ask. Would anyone know how to do this or has done it? I know we have a career page but wanted to get some input on this idea. Thank you!

I got my BM date and it is showing my refund as a lot less than anticipated. I did the form to increase my loan amount to the max (don’t judge me I know I have to pay it back I am financially struggling a bit at the moment) and I never got any kind of reply from student financial services or confirmation they received my form or anything I have sent a couple follow up emails and still nothing. Can anyone ease my worries that I will still receive my anticipated payment?

Are the Reading and Participation Activities graded?
I’ve been doing them, but in Mobius, sometimes it doesn’t show a green checkmark once I move on to the next page. So, im wondering if these are added towards my grade at all. I have been maintaining an A still. Just out of curiosity.

I forgot to put in my petition to graduate and the email said I had to do it before July 19. Has anyone had the school put it in on their behalf ?

These last few months at SNHU has been some of the worst college experience I have ever had in my entire life now a lot of that is due to the financial services side and the delays that they have been experiencing due to the big beautiful bill. It is one thing to be overwhelmed with the new changes that started July 1, 2026, but it’s another thing to be so overwhelmed that nobody is on the same page regarding the new changes. So in my experience, I just received my financial aid offer and I have been waiting since May 27, 2026. Now for full transparency and full clarity I am a guild student, so my process may be a little bit different from somebody who is not. But the fact that I went from May to June 18 with everybody giving me the wrong information about when my financial aid offer was going to be packaged is insane. Then I filled out a form with the lady on June 18 for a loan adjustment increase for the max amount and it was approved just to be told today that the amount that they are giving me is just the amount that they’re going to give me which is way less than I was expecting. Now I know people feel like Guild pays for everything but depending on how much you have use of guild it does not and I’m almost done and I’ve been using it the entire year. Furthermore, I was just informed by them that if I wanted to continue my graduate studies with them that I would have to pay out-of-pocket because the cost of their tuition and the amount that I can get under the new big beautiful bill will not be enough to cover it, and regardless, I will I have to out-of-pocket expenses. So if you’re someone who is looking to move forward with your graduate studies with SNHU, I would keep that in mind that any amount over the amount that they give you you would have to pay out of pocket. If I recall correctly, she told me it was about $2000 per class in the average tuition for a masters program at SNHU is about 1800 without books roughly. But they also cannot give any excess refunds so that’s why you’re paying out-of-pocket. Moral of the story is SNHU was terribly behind based on the big beautiful bill and it’s probably not a good school to continue any masters programs with unless you have access funding outside of the loans with financial aid.

Hi! I'm just curious to see if anyone has had any experience working as a student crisis counselor? I'm considering applying since I need some sort of money right now and this is what my advisor had suggested.
If you have had this job before, is there anything I should take into consideration or keep in mind? I'm a little nervous since I'm still starting out with work but I want to try this out, especially since my end goals are some sort of counseling.

I was half way through the peregrine exams and fell sick (flu). I went back to complete it today and realized it expired, I had no ideas it was even graded. Took me from an A to B. Is this instructor able to reset if I explain to them?

I’ve already had enough bad experiences with group projects in high school and my previous college coursework. Don’t get me wrong - I am beyond grateful what SNHU has done for me; if not for this school, then I would not be able to finish my education. But man, assigning group projects for a school that is devoted to remote learning is objectively dumb.
As the case has been with my previous experiences with group projects, I’ve shouldered the burden and done all the work, and yet again history is repeating itself for me with a group project 🙃
One thing’s for sure - there is no way I am letting my group partners get the same grade that I am. None of my partners have made any effort to respond to me, so that’s on them. I understand that nobody likes group projects, especially in an online learning setting, but at least make the effort to communicate.

So far I only have 55 credits, I want to do as much as possible through study dot com.
I sent my transcripts to snhu and they sent me a list of what I still need. Can anyone tell me what to take on study.com to fulfill these classes? I prefer classes with less of the "assignments" and more tests. I am also wondering if I can transfer in any credits for my major with studydotcom?
Still needed: 1 Class in @ @ with resident= Y and attribute = CSOJ or @ with resident= Y and
attribute = CSST or BUS 208 or EG 110 or ENV 219 or HIS 270 or POL 322 or
SCI 219 or 220 or SPT 215 or SST 101
Managing/Leading in Business Still needed: 1 Class in BUS 210 (will bus 209 satisfy this?)
Crit Bus Skills for Success Still needed: 1 Class in BUS 225
Driving Business Opportunities Still needed: 1 Class in BUS 400
Principles of Finance Still needed: 1 Class in FIN 320(I think this will work? Finance 101: Principles of Finance)
Global Dimensions in Business Still needed: 1 Class in INT 220 (Maybe this? Business 120: International Business)
People, Planet, and Profit Still needed: 1 Class in QSO 321(I found this but I am wondering if there is another option? Business 312: Advanced Operations Management)
I have used these two lists but I am still looking for help. Thanks!

Missing submission notifications
I don't know what changed, but recently I haven't been receiving submission notifications
Today, I saw 4 items in my "junk" folder in Outlook...
Opened it up and lo and behold
Had to whitelist the [email protected]
If you are also missing notifications, check your junk folder
Depending on your device and version of outlook , there are too many ways to add the email to your whitelist to list them all here
What I did was go into my Junk folder,
clicked the email notification from SNHU
MOVED IT BACK TO INBOX
When I did that, I got a pop up that asked me if I NEVER wanted to send an email from that sender to Junk.
I said yes or whatever the affirmative choice was to NOT block the sender and not to send it to junk
Outlook then gave me a notification that the sender was added to my "safe senders list"
Maybe this will help someone
So has anyone did a loan adjustment and seen the increase from it, because I’m still waiting.
