As the title says I’m trying to upgrade my Chem182 and the class I’m trying to get into is full. I’ve seen people talk about getting into a waitlist and what not, how do I go on about that? I’ve already emailed academic services about my circumstance but is there any other way to go on about this to up my chances of getting a seat?

I have always been quite bad at English work. Is it difficult? Does the online study guide help? (obviously it would but is everything from the test on there?)

I want to apply to a program at SAIT, something that isn't too long, has good employment prospects, and offers decent pay. I have a spouse and a little one to support. I am currently looking into Power Engineering 4th Class or Power Engineering Technology. I have no prior experience in these fields. My background is a mix of some sales, desk jobs, and factory work, but I prefer a career that is hands-on or a mix of both. Since I am 35 and haven't been to college in 10 years, can anyone recommend any programs to me?

I was thinking applying for fall 2027 , I already have a BSc in a Bio Sciences and I realized that it won't be able to get me much jobs on its own. I don't have an engineering background and don't know how hard this program will be for me since I have not done much math since my first year in uni.

I'm interested in this program because it seems engineers have much better job security compared to science degree holders and I have also heard from a lot of friends that as long as there's construction, civils will always have jobs.

So how's the job market for this program? was it easy for you to find a related job after grad?

I don't think I can commit to a 4 year engg degree at this time so I think this is my best option if the job market is good.
