Website for Rural organizing and community How-to guides.- Input needed
Hey yall!
I'm a guy from Missouri that ran for Congress one time and still work to continue building community. My friends and I are working on a website to serve as a resource for folks trying to do the work in our isolated communities. My goal is for this thing to actually be helpful, so I want to include education on topics that people actually want to learn about. What would be helpful to you in your community or would help you organize?
site is https://untilitthunders.com/ because like a mean old snapping turtle, we're not letting go of our hometowns until it thunders!
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Republican donors & politicians covertly funded and supported right wing militia. Why won't dems and their donors do the same?
The only reason I can think of is because they want to lose the political battle, then they want to lose the coming civil war as well.

Would like to see Dems do something to communicate outward
Is it too much to want to know what Dems are doing to combat fascism? I wish Democrats would come up with some way of communicating out to the public. All I get are requests for more money with the text service. Very few updates. Very little information at all. Just "DONATE $4 MORE DOLLARS!" in multiple texts a day. The party Youtube channel basically just dropped to boring business meetings after the election. There's a very small active group where I live, but I live in a red state where the laws become more draconian by the day.
I don't even care if some of the ideas are not great, at least do something to communicate with us more than asking for donations. Newsletters that weren't just long pleas for donations would be a great start, that could include messages from senators and congresspeople, key committee members, local news stories, etc.
Some other ideas I had were weekly or biweekly live town halls with special guests, billboard campaigns fighting misinformation, daily video news updates, or purely informational texts. There's probably a lot of other things that could work around our Republican-owned "news" and social media.

A commenter blocked me and commented on my previous post. Here is my response. This person would rather Democratic candidates lose than working class people have more buying power at the expense of the wealthy.
Found the person who supported the Iraq War, opposed Occupy Wall Street, and thought Kamala could win, and didn't care that Kamala is wealthy because her husband fought on behalf of corporations against employees in wage theft lawsuits and against consumers in corporate malfeasance lawsuits.
Yeah, you're the one who is out of touch with the average American.
Trump didn't win in 2016 or 2024. Hillary and Kamala lost. Both shrunk the democratic voting base by millions.
"No, it is the children who are wrong."
Pathetic.

You voted for Biden & Hillary once, or twice. You voted for Trump everyday with your wallet.
