Advice for nose breathing where my ears aren't popping constantly?

When I run I usually breathe through my mouth. But a trainer of mine said that I should be breathing through my nose if I want more natrual energy. Ive noticed my energy levels boost up when I try running with my nose breathing. But my ears pop like crazy and it drives me nuts.

Any advice? When Im at home I wear a mask covering my nose/ears, and my mouth exposed, and it seems like its helped not pop at all. But it would look ridicolous if I ran with it out in public. Advice is needed.

Is a 7 minute time good for someone who's only ran a mile twice?

So for reference my local grocery store is a mile away from me so I use it to track my progress. Ive only ran a full mile twice and I'm averaging about 7 minutes on my time.

I'm 30 and I just recently started trying to get into running more. I usually play DDR as my cardio and I just want some advice on how I can shave my time down to 6 minutes.
