I’m here for my question for the week. I’ll try to explain it as clearly as I can. I apologize if I use incorrect terms or don’t understand something. I returned not too long ago.

I now understand the process of upgrading certain regular items. I’ll use leaf bow for example. Get leaf bow recipe, get 2 base leaf bows, put them in forge, it has a chance to merge to become uncommon. Cool. I get that. But, what about reskin items.

Moonbeam, the reskin for ray katana, for example. Can I upgrade this item like the leaf bow? No, I’m not talking about the Neo version. I see the Neo recipe. I don’t have the recipe for moonbeam, nor do I see where I can obtain it. Any help would be appreciated.

I've made it my mission to obtain a Reality Reactor this season, but that's less because I think it's amazing and more because I just want it as like, the ultimate souvenir of this season. I don't know if I can even get enough essence and gear to make a full set, lol. BUT, looking at the raw stats, I really have to imagine that if you got a neo matrix, neo weapon, and reactor, you'd be insane. In terms of pure stats, it looks like it's better than most other endgame gear, but I dunno the endgame well enough to know if the effects measure up to whatever else is top-tier.

I played back in 2011 and I remember when the game hit steam.

There were so many new players, each server was absolutely flooded. It was amazing.

What would it take to see numbers like that come back?

Hi I'm pretty new. I don't have any character to more than 3 stars and have less than 30 hours playtime.

My wizard is pretty close to hitting 8/8 (just need the life!) and I've been doing pretty good with the elder heartwood staff and the wandering souls spell, but I think I need something maybe a little bit stronger/better pierce/aoe? Malogia nearly killed me solo; I felt like I couldn't deal with the packs.

Anyway I'm not sure what the next tier of gear I should go for is. Guides online all suggest stuff from endgame 8+ dungeons or o3, and I'm not good enough to grind those things over and over yet.

Any recs?

In the forge i can select tokens and they all have stats (doesn't work with non oryx agent set)

Does the stats goes to the gear i forge ? If not how does it work ?

Recently came back to the game, there is so much new stuff, got a divine corrosion cutter so decided to upgrade it.

There needs to be a way to view possible rollable enchants on a piece of gear as well as total dust spent on gear. If the game expects you to grind on hours on end for dust at the very least it should provide us the receipt for that grind to respect player's time.

E.g. I don't even know what are the possible enchants on alien gear without looking at the patch notes. Or if there is a bug preventing some enchants from happening how would we know/track? It would be hours of grinding for nothing.

In this ranking i mostly valued context, then how good the song is on its own, then how long and varied it is

The context was most important to me because the song on its own can be amazing but if it doesnt fit the dungeon or too short for a long dungeon its problematic

Some songs i love but fall victim to a lack of dynamic music changing, like for example the ice citadel theme is top 5 theme but because of some slow moments that will inevitably play during the boss fight it doesnt feel fitting. Steamworks and specpen themes are examples of songs that are engaging almost all throughout so they suit the lack of dynamic music changing

What are your takes?

The grind for a full set of neo gear is tedious already, just imagine the grind without there being a guaranteed alien event in every realm. I personally love the alien content and I believe it gives people other things to farm for than just o3/shatters gear and offers a fun alternative to the normal meta items while being very strong. Now, after the season ends the grind is going to be substantially harder and not as many people are going to be willing to do it.

The alien event being present in every realm doesn’t interfere with any normal grinding that people would want to do, it would just give people the choice to do it and grind calbrik/neo portals. You can close a realm and do whatever you want without the alien event interfering with it so I really don’t understand the point of making it up to chance if it spawns in the realm.

TL;DR

I believe aliens should be a permanent guaranteed event in every realm since they don’t obstruct regular gameplay/realm closing.
