How long have I been role playing?
I have been role playing since 2016 I learned how to role play on my favorite childhood video game star stable. And yes star stable is a horse rider game. Because of role playing I even started writing my own book!

How do I role play? And what do I like to role play?
I write pretty long paragraphs when we first get started and if we want to keep it that way can! But I’m also okay with as the role play goes on to do shorter messages. I do my best to follow how my rp partner messages as well.

I do everything in mostly first person now but I learned how to role play in 3rd so I’m okay to also role play in third but I mostly prefer first. 

I only do mlm/BL but I am also okay with on the off chance of doing a wlw/GL. I DO NOT DO M4F rps.

I have a bunch of plots and story lines to pick from! I won’t put them here because it’s a lot. If you like a plot but would like to change it around, that's totally cool too! I would also like to see some of your plots and ideas as I love hearing other people’s ideas! Thanks if we want we can even create a whole new story!

I don’t do fandoms I mostly role play oc’s. Some of my ocs go along with the plots that I’ve made over the years. All of my rps are Romance.

I do give pretty detailed descriptions and backgrounds to my ocs before we rp. so I will give TW for my ocs just in case.

Hey! I was looking for a roleplay which was mainly slice of life and romance mixed in with elements from the fantasy genre!

I would absolutely love to have a story where there we can have a cutesy roleplay in a world where we can explore the many opportunities for world building and character writing that a fantasy world has to offer.

I don’t quite have very many ideas, but I have a couple of things I’d like in the rp + a basic plot idea.

Firstly, I am very leant towards LGBTQ+ ships! I’m not against straight ships, but I just find that LGBTQ+ ships are much more enjoyable, so I’ll be more inclined to do MxM or FxF, or something involving any gender identities and orientations (trans friendly :>).

secondly, I usually prefer a minimum of one paragraph per response (occasional responses where it’s less is alright, I totally understand that life can be stressful and doing less is totally fine on occasion as long as I have something to work with).

And finally, I am quite flexible to write with, so any breaks/hiatuses are perfectly fine as long as I have notice so I’m not thinking that I am being ghosted!

Now onto my plot idea:

My idea is that there is a renowned college that has one of the greatest educational programs out there for anyone of any species. It isn’t quite known by the general public and is quite exclusive to some of the most known families and clans, so only the top students are accepted into it. Our ocs can meet through that, and slowly become friends, then lovers. For tropes, I’ve been CRAVING a scholar (MC) x bully (YC) or even a scholar (MC) x rebel/delinquent (YC), but I’m open to any ideas that you have!

Don’t be afraid to share any plot ideas that you have! Nothing is set in stone, I just wanted a plot set in a world that is like earth but has a lot of fantasy elements too. I do have a preference for monster-y/non-human characters, but again it isn’t a need or anything. I am also open to different dynamics, settings, etc!

As said in the title, I'm looking for a Harry Potter themed rp! Of course the plot itself can change depending on what we talk about in chat. (I already have an oc made for this rp btw).

Two ancient pureblood families arrange a marriage between their children to restore political alliances after the war. Neither student has much say in the matter, and they're expected to spend increasing amounts of time together while navigating Hogwarts life. Whether they become allies, enemies, or genuinely fall in love is entirely up to the roleplay (tho I will say...I would prefer the romance option but its up to you).

Of course, since these two ocs would be getting married, they would have to be 18 and in their final year of Hogwarts. But PLEASE dont feel like we NEED to do that rp in specific. Believe me, we can always do something else if thats more towards your liking!

One Tree Hill- I am obsessed with this show, I am very early in season one but it’s reignited my love for the classic 90s/00s shows! Les Mis- I would love to explore Paris during this time. I have a female oc I pair heavily with Enjolras or Marius but Enjolras would be my preference. I have a few devastating ideas for this verse that mix in parts of Moulin Rouge. I have thoughts on an informant for the Revolution working at the famous club so she can get news of the royalist movements. On this note I am also obsessed with Wicked and would love a Fiyero if possible.

Harry Potter- As much as JK Rowling sucks I love love love Hogwarts and the wonderful characters she created. I would love to write against a Draco, George, Sirius or James. I have a few plots including a time turner experiment.

Fourth Wing- Words cannot express my love and adoration for Basgaith war college and the amazing men Rebecca Yarros has given us. My characters main male here is Xaden. She’s created to be the light in his world and I’ve been working on her for years so I hope you like her! Other favourites include Liam, Ridoc and Araric. I’d love to do a love triangle for this verse I honestly think there are so many intriguing options.

ACOTAR- Again another special fandom in my heart. I love the Illyrians so much so I would love to do something with Cassian or Azriel. I never get to pair with Az so I’d love to explore something there. I’m also intrigued by the idea of the autumn court males so Eris and Lucien. I think a love triangle between these guys could frankly be deadly. I have several heart breaking and detailed ocs for this verse. I’ve been working on these characters since the first book came out and adding to them as we got more info. I also love TOG but I won’t list my pairings here- it’ll be too intense a post haha.

Euphoria/Wuthering Heights - weird mix I know. But I adore Jacob Elordi and am basically willing to work in any of his projects provided I’ve seen them! I’ve watched Wuthering Heights, Priscilla, Euphoria (S1 only new fan!) and of course SaltBurn.

Maxton Hall/Outerbanks- Desperately craving a James Beaufort and a JJ Maybank. I never get to pair with either. I’ve put these two fandoms together because they’re a similar theme. But I have so many ideas for each of these men. Please let me know if you’d like to write in these worlds.

Top Gun- Words cannot express how much I LOVE these movies. I am looking for a Maverick, Goose or Iceman from the first movie. From the second Bradley, Hangman or Maverick please! I am more than willing to double on this fandom. I love the movies so much. Please be familiar with the plot and verse!

Disney- Please ask about this one. But I am more into the live action adaptions. Cinderella for example and Pirates of the Caribbean. ASOIF- I love this verse too and think it’s so much fun. Although I do struggle to finish GOT. I don’t think I’ve ever made it past season six haha. Sinners- would love to work against the smokestack brothers please! I actually studied this era and it’s a story I would love to tell. I also love the music in this movie and I’d love to be able to do it justice in a unique story line.

Hunger Games- I write across the eras with this fandom. It’s such a vast and uniquely fascinating fandom that just keeps growing and growing. I would love to find a Finnick O’Dair or young Coriolanus here I have some intriguing ocs who may help reshape the Panem universe.

LOTR- I am a fan of the movies (I know boo me haha). I am reading the books but very slowly due to dyslexia. I am trying my best to get through them as quickly as I can but they are challenging. I’m searching for a Legolas or Aragorn here!

Pirates of The Caribbean- I am obsessed with sea legends at the moment and have several ideas I’d love to explore. I have some tragic and exciting ideas I’d love to explore with a Jack or Will as well if possible I would love a love triangle. But I understand that might not be possible!

I am F 26, I've been writing for a little over 13 years now. I'm looking for a literate, long term partner to play out one of a few scenarios.

My timezone is EST, if you're in a different time zone that's okay. I will be able to provide multiple replies in a day but I'm generally patient when it comes to frequency of replies, so if you lead a busier lifestyle I understand. In terms of my writing: I love a focus on a characters internal monologue and making a characters actions feel believable through their thoughts and opinions. As a result my replies do tend to be a bit on the longer side, usually between 2-5 paragraphs, depending on how intense or passive the current scene is. I'd prefer my partner to be about the same.

What am I looking for? I don’t have a full plot yet, just an idea or maybe a couple of them.

I was thinking about a princess who is soon to take over the throne after the death of her mother. She has four months to choose a partner and marry them. The problem? Her siblings are in the same race. The first one to marry and have a child will inherit the throne and its riches.

Before her death, their mother prepared different royal balls to help all of her children find suitable partners. However, they cannot simply choose the first woman or man who appears. Their choice must first be approved by the council, and after that they must remain engaged for a month before the wedding.

The reason their mother chose these rules for her four children is still unknown. That is a mystery for us to discover. When the Queen’s will was read, everyone was surprised, especially the princess. She was the Queen’s favorite, and everyone knew it, something that caused conflict with her siblings for years.

She was the youngest and nowhere close to the throne, yet everyone knew the Queen wanted her to take over, much to the anger of her eldest brother and father. After the Queen’s death, the kingdom stands on unstable ground, with everyone trying to climb above their station and secure their place before the next ruler takes the throne.

Who will the princess choose? A commoner? Her first love? Her best friend? An enemy of the crown?

How the story develops is completely up to us. I’m looking for intrigue, political tension, betrayal, and magic. Something inspired by Game of Thrones, The Wheel of Time, and even Lord of the Rings.

You can play as the princess or someone else entirely. That part is up to us.

It has been a couple years since I last entered the realm of written roleplay. 37, male, and having started in high school, with a shared notebook passed between my partner and I, then into the digital space. My style is typically long form. Details and building matter, and as we all have lives, it allows for quality and focus and practicality.

Hello there, male looking for long-term roleplay partners.

I am an advanced, literate, multi-paragraph, novella-style writer (not a Shakespearean writer) and can manage an output that ranges from 500 to 3500+ words per post, but I can manage to mirror my partner's writing length and effort; not all replies need to be novella length whatsoever, and I also understand that not all scenes require such length. I do tend to write a lot just because that is my style, but sometimes I can write much less—usually 1 to 6 paragraphs. But Please: (No one-liners.) (Put effort into your writing and make it meaningful.) (literate to advanced literacy, at least semi-literate but with effort) (Don't rush replies or scenes.) (Not looking for rapid-fire responses). My experience in writing and roleplaying in general is about three years.

I write in the third person past tense. Seeking collaboration rather than a one-sided (not a GM). No endless plotting before we start a roleplay; some plotting is fine to know the basics of the story, but I would rather have unexpected consequences for the decisions our characters make as well as for side characters. I am fairly open to many themes and ideas, as I am very open-minded. I can also write multiple side characters and love character interaction, storytelling, and world-building during the writing part.

Long before she was born, her grave had already been dug and her coffin buried alongside her soul, the wood creaking open as it waited for her body to fall in. At times, it was almost enticing. She had seen it early on — when she was younger. She dreamt of floating above her mattress, staring down at an ornate mahogany coffin adorned with intricate golden carvings, and within it, a young woman who looked just like her lay still with her eyes shut and her hands folded over her sternum.

That was a little more dramatic than the actual events of her childhood, she supposed. But Tahza had always possessed a flair for the theatrical. Her earliest memory was of visiting the theatre with her parents. They had been supporters of the arts, the sort who believed one could understand any language so long as there was a shared devotion to beauty and creation. A shame, she thought. Their philosophy had hardly been enough to keep them alive, so why should she be the one expected to uphold it? What good was a philosophy rooted in blind optimism when that same blind optimism could so easily become the reason for one’s undoing? These were the thoughts that kept her awake when sleep evaded her. When her heart hammered against her ribs and she found herself unable to soothe the ache blooming at her temples.

It grew and grew — a ravenous hunger that could not be satiated, no matter how hard she tried. Heat billowed slowly through her, and she clenched her fist. She thought of her parents; of their faces, of how she had always been accused of stealing their features. An equal replica of them both, in spirit and in flesh, and yet she had never possessed the one thing that had mattered most to them. The distant swell of music pulled her thoughts back to the palace. The festivities below the balcony had simmered down into something digestible enough to where Tahza did not feel suffocated by the noise, and yet, she chose to remain hidden away from peering eyes and questioning tongues, and the incessant priests who insisted on praying over the newfound union with blessings from the gods. She had to bite back a scoff at the mention of it; she never much cared for the opinions of the gods, always found them to be feeble beings with no strong moral grounds to stand on. How could she, after all? 

The weather was humid. Not the most ideal time of summer to hold such an occasion, she felt, but when one intended to build an army, one needed three things: wealth, influence, and bodies, and right now Tahza possessed not one of those. But her husband did. The word left a bitter taste in the back of her throat, the golden band weighting down on her finger the moment she looked down at it.

My idea for this plot was that my character was once a disgraced noblewoman whose family got wrongfully convicted for crimes they did not commit. Angered by her kingdom’s unjust, she seeks to marry someone of power and use the troops they’ve acquainted to stage a war with her prior home. Said person she would marry would be your character; A noble Knight of a rivaling (or neighboring) kingdom.

I really love marriage of convenience plots where they start up tolerating each other enough and end up falling for one another. I hope for our characters to be able to go on different quests together to aid their relationship while they plan out how to win a war and conquer a kingdom!

I figured I’d make another post and see if I can find someone who’s just as excited about roleplay as I am

I’m a female writer looking for a male writing partner who enjoys creating a long-term story full of survival, action, character development, and plenty of unexpected twists. The Walking Dead has always been one of my favorite settings because it’s about so much more than zombies. It’s about the people, the impossible choices they have to make, and the relationships they build while trying to survive.
I’d love to create an original story with original characters. We can use the show’s world as our backdrop, borrow locations or events if it makes sense, but I’d rather tell our own story than follow the show’s plot. Whether we start on day one of the outbreak or years later is something I’m happy to figure out together.
Some of my favorite parts of these stories are the quieter moments between the action. Long walks down abandoned highways, scavenging old buildings, campfire conversations, difficult moral decisions, meeting strangers who may or may not have good intentions, and those moments where your characters finally get a chance to breathe before everything falls apart again. I want the world to feel dangerous, but I also want the characters to feel like real people.
While I enjoy writing romance, I see it as something that naturally develops alongside the larger story. For me, the survival, adventure, and character growth are what make those moments meaningful.
Outside of The Walking Dead, I’m also a huge fan of Star Wars and Avatar (James Cameron). If we end up clicking as writing partners, I’d definitely be interested in writing in those universes sometime as well. Right now though, I’m really hoping to find someone interested in surviving the apocalypse.
I usually write anywhere from a few solid paragraphs to longer responses depending on what’s happening in the scene. I don’t expect novella-length replies every time, but I do appreciate detail, effort, and someone who enjoys moving the story forward. I’m also a big fan of brainstorming together. Some of the best stories come from bouncing ideas back and forth and surprising each other along the way.

Muse B, on the other hand, is the school’s golden star - valedictorian, student council president, and heir to a political dynasty (or anything else idc). His future is already decided, and he’s spent his whole life making sure nothing spoils his perfect reputation. He has no time for distractions, especially not for someone like Muse A.

MC and YC grew up together. He was the older brother’s best friend the one who was always around, teasing her when she was younger and treating her like a little sister, even though she likely harbored a secret crush on him at times. But then he left enlisting in the military straight out of high school, cutting off nearly all ties, and for years they went without seeing or speaking to each other.

Now after his final deployment and his contract ending he is finally home. Her brother, now more deeply entrenched than ever in the family’s mafia operations pulls him back into their orbit, eager to rekindle the old friendship. Seeing the soldier he has become, the brother believes he could be a valuable asset to the family business. With nowhere else to go and longer fitting into civilian life. He finds himself drawn back into a world that feels both familiar and perilously dangerous.

That’s when he sees her again.

She is not the child he remembers. She has grown up, and she might now be more involved in the family than he ever expected or perhaps she has spent years desperately trying to escape its clutches. Regardless, a tension arises between them, fueled by shared memories, unspoken feelings, and the undeniable pull of something they were never meant to experience.

The complication lies in her brother’s fierce protectiveness any involvement with her would cross a dangerous line. Worse still the deeper he sinks into the family business, the harder it becomes to extricate himself and he begins to realize that his past has made him the perfect weapon for their dangerous world.

At first, he tries to resist determined to maintain his distance from both her and the criminal empire her family runs. He convinces himself that he is only on leave, that he will leave soon. Yet the longer he stays the more entangled his life becomes.

And when enemies begin closing in and the violence escalates, he is forced to confront an inevitable choice to stay and protect the remnants of the life he once knew or to run before he transforms into something he vowed he would never become.

I like to roleplay to create elaborate, strong stories within various fandoms. I like using both Canon and Original Characters within my roleplays, and you'd be able to do so as well. I prefer that we both use semi-literate to literate levels of writing as this is what I usually strive for personally. I don't use curse words myself, but I have no problems if you use curse words. Also, don't worry about scheduling things. This is meant to be fairly casual, so I have no problems with either of us replying inconsistently at different times in a given day. Witch and her newfound apprentice:

I kinda stole this from an old comic I once read, but I’m changing it up for sake of roleplay! The story follows a runaway prince who ran away from his duties and kingdom, in search of being normal, feeling loved. In his process, he stumbles across a strange cabin, outside the kingdom gates, in this cabin, a witch finds him, and saves him. In turn for allowing the prince to stay, she makes him her apprentice, and from here, the story follows their life together, ultimately, I’d like for there to be a romantic connection between the two after build up of course! This one is one of my favorites.

the strange roommate: this story follows a young man, and his roommate. This story is much more open ended, as this one is used in case someone wants to play a character that isn’t human, more so a hybrid. Can be discussed more if you’d like!
