Current level sliver 3 ranked but it seems too easy. Same story, start off in last and I always end up winning. I know I’m good but dang, not sure if I should still keep playing If it’s mostly bots

Hi everyone, just thought I'd post here since it's been quiet for a while.

Still working on the mode of course, just getting it to a playable state so I can drop a trailer.

I'm not sure if Epic would allow the name "Rocket Racing 2" due to it implying it's an official sequel rather than a community reboot of the game, so I figured it's best to change the name to something more unique.

Since this is a community project and a lot of the decisions will be made by the community (there's a lot more surveys and polls to come, especially following the trailer) I figured it's best to leave it up to you guys to name the project. I've got a few name suggestions here but I encourage you to leave name ideas in the comments, and if any of those get a lot of upvotes I'll do another poll with those names and the top scoring names from this poll to determine the overall winner.

Just wanted to share some recent personal bests of mine. Now, I understand many don’t care too much for Rocket Racing at this point, but because I still find some enjoyment playing it, I figure why not try and see what times I can pull off til then. 2 1/2 months is right around the corner! That last 30% was sooo hard! With Rocket Racing scheduled to be removed in October, I am curious as to if there may be one more rank reset as I don’t feel this season will go until October.. anyone have any thoughts or insights into this?

So I guy was searching for a place where he would find all the tracks from a top view that rocket racing ever had. Should I build it? Not sure how I will share it since I think this subreddit doesn’t allow self promo or whatever…

Has Olympus been taken away? I haven’t played it for ages - probably because I haven’t really played for a while and thought I’d just do a little Private run around but I can’t find it.

I’ve put the flair for this post as bug but I honestly have no clue - Epic could just be doing it now 🤯

There I was, just minding my own business at Diamond III, came in third in an enjoyable/competitive race and the game levelled me up to Unreal😳

I mean, it was fun to just see it continuously increasing my rank in seconds but I feel kind of annoyed. I enjoy the game as a side game, normally get to Elite which I quite happy with but I didn’t earn this. I’m not interested in playing against people who are at such a different level of the game and are obviously far more invested in it than me. I enjoy being competitive but at whatever skill level I am - if I get there by myself then great. But this is odd.

EDIT it’s okay - if I was against Unreal players there’s no way I’d even finish a race. Phew!!

So I finished a race in diamond 3 in 1st place expecting to rank up just to elite but then this happened

I’m not complaining about being unreal (furthest I’ve ever been before this was elite)

Just wanting to see if anyone else has had similar experience

Anytime I hit Unreal, I'd start helping others get there also, or just stayed in Speedrun, lol. Wasn't racing for the numbers, just knew that if I tried my best, I could be up there with you guys. ✌🏻🙂 and I loved every minute of it. 🫶🏻 🏎️💨 🏁 Juss threw a few fav clips at the end. This game has been my favorite thing to do in life, since near the end of Season O. 🥲 Thank you world for letting this moment happen to me, and to everybody else that feels the same. Love you guys
