I really think this is the obvious answer to who Otto married to make descendants in Sasageru IF.

I don't see Otto and Rem marrying in this timeline as disrespecting Subaru or Ram, but rather as honoring them by continuing to live after losing them. Subaru would never want Rem to spend the rest of her life lonely and unhappy simply because he could never return, nor would Ram want Otto to waste his life mourning someone whose mind had already been shattered and who ultimately died. After a decade of surviving together, sharing the same grief, rebuilding a broken world, and becoming each other's remaining family, it is entirely believable that genuine love could grow between them without erasing the love they once felt for Subaru and Ram. Their marriage would not be a consolation prize or an act of infidelity toward absent loved ones, but a testament to moving forward despite unimaginable loss. In fact, giving Otto an anonymous wife would diminish the story, because Rem is one of the few people who truly shares his devotion to Subaru, making her the most natural person to help preserve Subaru's memory, raise children who understand why he must be rescued, and carry that mission across generations.

It becomes even more fitting if Otto and Rem know that Subaru possesses the power to rewind time. In that case, their descendants are not merely trying to rescue a lost friend—they are dedicating themselves to returning Subaru to the moment where he can erase this tragic timeline entirely. Their family becomes an act of faith and sacrifice: every generation exists not only to keep Subaru's memory alive, but to ensure that one day he can come home and save everyone, even if doing so means their own history will cease to exist.
