CBS Sports Network instead of ESPN this time, but another channel I don't have

So I was particularly frustrated by the Gotham game getting bumped from ABC to ESPN2 because of the rain delay (also incidentally frustrated by CBSSN having a bunch of CFL games but at least I can find radio feeds for those) And the way this team is doing I'm not particularly interested in chasing down a feed

At least our game after that (Bay away Saturday 8/1 5:45 P) is supposed to be on free TV (ION)

For both the Reign, AND the sounders. Pretty damning of the FO that they can apparently manage neither team properly.

Hopefully we're actually playing in a few minutes ESPN2 Not listed on NWSL+, sometimes games bumped from broadcast for whatever reason get moved there Besides the wait itself, real bummer when I don't pay for ESPN and would have been able to get it on broadcast ABC at the scheduled time

Are you tired of how things are being run at this club? Are you ready to make your voice heard? Well, now is the time. 

After years of mediocrity on and off the pitch the fans need to start calling for change. Throughout the ages there has been one constant form of protest in leagues throughout the world:

Booing.

We must boo mediocrity at the fulltime whistle.

If we get humiliated again by Portland the fans must make the ownership group hear us. What amounts to potentially the objective worst loss in top flight soccer last time in Providence Park aside, some lowlights this year include:

• no first team signings in 548 days
• 1 win in our last 8
• 2nd worst attendance
• 2nd fewest goals scored
• 3rd lowest xG
• 3rd fewest scoring attempts
• bottom 5 in undeperforming xG
• bottom half in goals conceded
• bottom half in xG conceded

These are just a few areas that we can see us, again, falling short as a club. None of this is new; this has been happening for 3 straight seasons. 

This is a call for more investment, more ambition, more tactical acumen, and more end product. **The Seattle Reign should not be a team comfortable at the bottom of the table**. This is fans saying enough is enough.

Note: please do not boo during the match. This is not a protest of the players; save it for after the match (or half time too if we're really getting stomped out there).

I hope we don't need this. I hope we show up against Portland. But, when we don't, we should be ready.

While you can watch on the ESPN app, it's not listed on the ESPN+ schedule, apparently you'd have to have a cable subscription. Might be a blessing in disguise the way we've been playing, but I wanted to give them another chance for a Cascadia

I read up a bit on the history of the Reign but I want to learn more about the team. I haven't watched much soccer before but I want to get more into it now due to the men's World Cup and the upcoming women's one in Brazil.

Who are the current standout players? Does the team tend to play more defensively or offensively? Who is your favorite player and why? Any info would be helpful and probably make my first match more interesting to watch!

We are coming up to watch our first game in Seattle with my 8yo daughter. Is there a place and time to be at for autographs from the Seattle players similar to how Portland does it?

I saw this on instagram but thought she was joining as a coach or something but it looks like she’s joining as a player?

Confused how this is allowed since the USL-W is a pre-professional league and she’s also a co-owner? Not complaining, but just seems strange since it seems like most players in the USL-W are early 20s, still in college, or just graduated while Lu recently retired as a Reign FC player.

Timing is also odd since Salmon Bay FC just made the playoffs.

Anyone have insights/thoughts on this?

Hard to feel good about a AC leaving after only 2 years.

Variations on a theme from some of the recent posts expressing disappointment but thought this article really sums up a lot of supporter feelings and needs for the team well.

I have been a STM for the Reign for three years and just attended my first Seattle Storm game. I was shocked at how much more time, energy, and money seems to go into the game day experience for the Storm. The mascot used a giant T-shirt blaster to give out a ton of free merch, they gave out quite a few $25 Starbucks gift cards to an entire section and even more that were dropped from the ceiling, LOTS of fan engagement, prompts on the screen for what to cheer / chant, really creative and unique merch in the team store, a game day DJ that played music throughout the game, super entertaining halftime show with a dance team, and overall just great vibes.

Was the Reign game day experience ever more engaged / entertaining? Is it an ownership / spending issue? I love the NWSL and so badly want our game day experience to improve! I feel like with more time, energy, money, and creativity it could happen.
