I respect, admire, and as a "news junkie" adore Rachel Maddow in both her reporting and her commentary,

but the one problem I have with her commentaries of late is that she keeps encouraging us to stand up and fight for re-taking this country

while offering free forgiveness rather than consequences to our MAGA family members & neighbors & fellow Americans even though we know that fighting this administration without fighting them only guarantees that this will happen again and again.

If your spouse spends the rent money on alcohol and you work double-time to make up for the loss but never confront your spouse with consequences, all that will happen is that your spouse will spent next month's rent on alcohol as well. Rescue makes no sense unless there is accountability.

Even if every sincere reasoning progressive & leftist found a way to free this country of MAGA politicians, there would still exist the people who voted for Trump thrice and will vote for anyone who resembles him for however many decades it takes before they leave this world.

So why bother to try to save the world when nearly a third of the population will devote the rest of their lives and the rest of your life to undoing any good you accomplish today?

If she could answer that for me and for my people, we would join her in the efforts, but for the moment, we don't see how this isn't the same as emptying a flooding rowboat with a tea spoon while a third of the people are drilling holes in the bottom while blaming everyone but themselves for the holes

I can't find anywhere a way to watch Rachel's show without paying for a service. I can't even find torrents for it.
