So my version isn't fully developed yet so I'll split this into how each kingdom utilises it

Atlas

-due to being rich in dust they have standardized uses of it and can make and produce a specialised type of dust known as hard light dust that has allowed them to be the scientific powerhouse they are today with dust powering everything they own

-in terms of equipment they have standardized issue dust based weaponry for all non huntsman soldiers with plenty of atlesian huntsman using heavy dust based weaponry

Mistral

-while not as reliant they are still a dust based kingdom with the Mistral Trading Company having made a monopoly off of it

-in terms of weaponry they've mastered the ability to make weapons that have dust imbued into metal weaponry that they have mastered as an art form with many users of said blades being immediately assumed as Mistralean due to the rarity of the technique

-a unique form of dust that some criminals use is known as pixie dust having been made by a now student of haven scarlet David I,said dust let's a user fly so long as they're filled with adrenaline

Vale

-is a dust based kingdom that relied on it for there technological advancements with mount glenn having been the atlas of vale that revolutionised dust tech mainly in terms of defense with dust shields having been Valean technology that atlas was able to repurpose after the fall

Vacuo

-the least dust based kingdom due to the scarcity of it after the great war witht hem relying on old fashion tech and even electricity to power there technology with only the academy being able to use dust tech due to funding they received from other kingdoms

-before the great war they were revolutionaries in dust works with dust based clothing being there greatest achievements something rare to see nowadays as the art is almost all but lost

-has been able to make weapons that are forged with dust as in dust shards are melted in the mettle making them durable yet keep the dust enhancement something that mistral had yet to achieve

I've come across two opinions on RWDE:

-Systematic anti-faunus racism is almost nonexistent.

-Being a faunus in Remnant is horrible.

We know that in Atlas and Mistral there are "No faunus" signs. Which would be segregation. As far as we know, there's no segregation in government buildings, which is good.

We know that faunus slavery exists from the comics. And apparently, it's convict labor, which disproportionately affects faunus.

But according to Jacques, he pays humans and faunus the same.

According to Marrow, Atlas society is designed to put faunus down. According to Blake, faunus are second-class citizens. And Marrow agrees that the law isn't equal for humans and faunus.

We could say that Blake is a hypocrite. But just because she's rich doesn't mean faunus aren't denied opportunities in general. We hardly ever see rich faunus. Besides, just because I'm rich doesn't mean I can't talk about how my people in general suffer discrimination.

We've seen police brutality. Like a cop throwing a rock at Sun, when he was just a stowaway on a ship.

Something else I've heard that could be considered systemic racism is the fact that faunus were slaves in the past, which is why current generations of faunus are poor. Because they haven't been able to inherit much property. And that, well, the state should do something about it.

Another thing, there's the White Fang. A terrorist organization that fights against the SDC (and the Remnant governments). Meanwhile, there are no human terrorist organizations fighting against the SDC.

Can we say that faunus bear the brunt of labor exploitation?

What do you think? Again, I'm talking about systemic oppression. Not things like Weiss being racist. Because that's more of a person thing.

I mention the SDC because its oppression is something the law allows.

I do want that to happen. But I'm more of a fan who would like Adam to arrive at Atlas.

Anyway, some say that Weiss has already learned what she needed to learn. It's like, Weiss isn't racist anymore. She already knows the cruelties of her company. She's already faced the White Fang.

So, why would a confrontation with Adam be necessary? Why would it be necessary for her to confront Adam and see the brand that the SDC left? That's what the fandom says.

They also point out that, given the way Adam's character is written, he doesn't really seem to care much about Weiss. He seems interested in Blake; he wants revenge on her, especially after she caused his defeat in Haven.

Has Adam ever expressed hatred toward the Schnees? Adam has only expressed hatred toward humanity in general because he blames all of humanity for what happened to him. On the contrary, both Yang and Blake are victims of Adam. And the confrontation should be between them.

Personally, I'd like this confrontation because Weiss hasn't mentioned wanting to stop the SDC in a long time. Sure, she wants to redeem the family name, but that's more about being a huntress. I think a confrontation with the SDC was necessary. A revolution in Atlas and all that.

And well, I think seeing Adam and seeing his company's brand on his face would fill her with determination.

Besides, just because he hates the Schnee doesn't mean he doesn't hate the Schnee in particular.

So for anyone unaware the Mistral trading company was the primary organization responsible for vacuo being expended of there dust mines during the great before abandoning it completely when they got what they needed

For me atleast I'd write it so that the MTC is one of these questionable businesses that the SDC allied themselves with

That and the MTC being the main source of dust based melee weapons in comparison to the sdc and there ranged ammunitions

The two companies being both rivals and partners

The family who owns and are the equivalent to the Schnees would be house Vasilias the current CEO is Saturn Vasilias and his heir and eldest son is Jupiter Vasilias
