Any advertisements for the private server you're playing right now or the private server that you're hosting should go in this thread.
Your advert should try to include recent update details and the Update and its name (if any), approximate date, as well as a description of the changes.
If your project is not-yet playable, you may post once per week in the main feed, rather than here, to help build hype.
Fully released servers must post in this thread.
Advertisements which appear to be official will be held to higher standards than freeform recommendations.
So long as they contain accurate, meaningful information, displayed in a way that is formatted to Reddit, they will be accepted

Did anyone here play MythicalRSPS? Owned by Connor? Anyone know what happened to that? I've been trying to find it for a bit now and cant.
I can not find a source that is 1:1 to osrs. Claude is not doing a great job at finding one, or redeveloping one. I need the real 1:1 GE UI, logic, etc. A source code would be great so claude can pull what it needs from that. post links if you got em please

# Welcome to Project Gielinor!
This is a passion project with a clear goal: Bring the modern Old School RuneScape experience to everyone. My hope is that the private server community shares my ambition and love for the game. RuneScape is a game that has been carefully curated over a quarter century! No single person could ever faithfully recreate a game of this scale alone. It requires a community, modern tooling, and collaboration—including AI. My personal experience with private servers has taught me many things, but one thing stands out above all others:
> Every creator wants to be a part of something bigger than themselves.
## My Hope: This is it.
Jagex has spent years protecting its intellectual property, and many ambitious private server projects have disappeared as a result. My hope is that by building this as a completely non-commercial, community-driven project, we can create something that lasts. This isn't about making money. It's about preserving a game we all love.
## This project succeeds only if the community builds it together.
If you've ever wanted to contribute to something larger than your own server, this is your opportunity. Fork the repository, submit a pull request, report issues, or help document the project.
Every contribution matters, no matter how big or small.
Every skillset is valuable.
Every ounce of effort moves this project forward.
## Join the community. Get involved. Let's do something monumental!
# Let's FREE GIELINOR!
Anyone with the standard RuneLite client can connect to a locally running server using RSProx. You can find everything you need to begin developing locally in the GitHub repository. If you need further assistance, join us on Discord or open an issue on GitHub.

I have recently begun the closed testing launch of my game RuneBoard which is a Runescape inspired open world board game. I need more feedback and help getting through this two week closed testing phase. Testing will continue past this, I just need 2 weeks to get it into open testing.
Join the tester group (this authorizes you): https://groups.google.com/g/runeboard-testers
On your Android phone, open the tester link and tap "Become a tester": https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.runeboard.game
Then install from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.runeboard.game
I have some really special plans for future goals with the game and would really appreciate all the help I can get with not just getting testers to get it public but also to get some real genuine feedback from gamers that love Runescape or the grind that it has.
You CAN also play RuneBoard on iOS by going to rune-board.com in Safari but there is no app store app yet for Apple.
Thank you for helping! Much appreciated <3

I played Runescape back in the day, and came back to OSRS a handful of years ago with Runelite. I really liked the new content and QoL improvements. But now I want to play with a buddy who's never played before, and probably won't be available regularly, so both the membership fee and the grind seem like non-starters if we want to experience more than the initial stage of the game, hence looking toward private servers.
I've searched around other posts like this and recommendations given, but most of the servers' websites seem to give little to no information about them, making it next to impossible to make a decision efficiently. So here's what I'm looking for:
TL;DR/Main concerns:
- Free membership.
- Boosted xp rates. I don't mind the early game, and would actually rather it stayed un-altered, but after level 40-60, depending on the skill, you hit a massive wall that makes you dedicate dozens or hundreds of hours to get your skills to a high level and unlock even a little content, and that's a time commitment that won't be worth it for our situation. Since it scales so much over the game, I really don't know what a good modifier would be- I'll throw 3-5X out there as a ballpark figure to start with- but I'm guessing I'll have to take what I can get. I don't know if it's standard or not, but it would be nice if quest XP rewards scaled the same way.
- Relatively vanilla experience, as up to date with OSRS as possible. I don't mind additional, unobtrusive content, but I don't want the core OSRS experiences to be removed or altered *too* much, so hopefully any changes are just extra bits of QoL and flavor that enhance the game a little instead of "free teleports everywhere" and "skip all quests" and stuff like that, that seem to simply skip parts of the game. And I don't want to be bombarded with popups and cosmetics and MTX advertisements that pull me out of the experience. If you know TurtleWoW, I liked their approach. You can experience the game in a relatively authentic, original way if you want, and engage with the new stuff only when you want to.
- Runelite or similar client. I understand that private servers can't use standard Runelite, but I really like its QoL and graphical improvements. I don't want to play with the equivalent of a clunky vanilla OSRS client.
Lesser priorities:
- Boosted drop rates for rare items. The logic here is similar to the XP rates. In my experience with the game, the only way you're getting the equipment you want to use, such as a particular barrows set, is by buying it off the GE. It would be nice if we could sometimes earn key equipment ourselves. This could tie into the next point...
- Potentially, ironman friendly. I've never played iron man before, but I don't like the way many skills are money sinks instead of money makers when you train them, and you rarely make your own equipment or buy it from shops due to the GE(assuming the GE isn't totally dead on the server anyway). Group ironman sounds like it might be more rewarding, if the inconvenience is offset by boosted XP and drop rates. But having not played ironman before, I'd have some concerns like, "Will we have a source of thousands of runes if we don't sink lots of time into tedious runecrafting?" and "Will I have bank space for the random items I need for treasure trails, since I can't just buy them from the GE when I need them?" Maybe a private server would smooth out these wrinkles.
- Server reliability. I don't want to be afraid that the server will disappear or wipe our characters if we take a break for several months. It would be especially nice if I knew that I have the option of downloading our character information and running a game instance just for us. I've heard this can be done. Presumably in that case, there would also be ways of tweaking the game settings at our convenience.
Not a big concern:
- Big server population. I'm just planning to play with a friend or two relatively autonomously, not relying on others for the most part. In fact, a lot population could have perks like not needing to fight over key monster spawns or shop stock. However, it's nice if the world doesn't *feel* dead. It would also be nice to have enough people to play the minigames, but not so many that those are ultra crowded and min-maxed like they often are on the official servers.
- Very late game, specialized, and hardcore content. Raids, PvP, leagues, deadman, super high level bosses, etc. I don't really know much about this stuff in the first place, and my buddy is more of a casual gamer, and like I said, I'd like to be able to play relatively autonomously, so I really don't see us getting deep into this stuff.
So the main point of the post is server recommendations, but feel free to fill me in on key information, such as things I obviously need to know before committing to group ironman, since those could inform my decision.
First things first, let’s get a few things out of the way.
rs2b0t is only meant to be used against servers that allow botting. The kind of bot this community provides is also very detectable — if you point it at the Lost City live project, you’ll get banned immediately. Don’t do it.
But why?
A big part of this project is nostalgia. I started playing RuneScape in 2002. A few years later I became a script kiddie writing Delphi scripts for SCAR — and that’s what got me into programming as a teenager, and ultimately why I became a software engineer.
It’s also a homage to some of the great botting communities. Most players never knew it, but people like jacmob and the other developers in that scene were incredibly welcoming and genuinely fun to be around. I spent days in the RSBuddy IRC channel talking with other self-taught engineers, learning about the clever methods and bots they were building. One guy built Snake into the overlay of his Frost Dragons bot — so instead of watching it play RuneScape, you’d play Snake on top of it.
That’s what I’m hoping this becomes: a community built around botters — one that respects the Lost City project and its rules. So I setup a playground.
Come hang out!
rs2b2t has no rules. You can multi-log. The logout timer is jacked up to 5 minutes. There will be bots.
Let’s see where this project goes.

I have been working on an OSRS style text based adventure game. Currently in beta, just making this for fun, eventually I hope to make it one world for all people with open GE for trading, group bossing etc. Just sharing for fun, all open source :)

I was logged in on Exiles and was installing more fans in my pc and accidentally turned the pc off. When i cut it back on RSPS Hub showed no servers at all and then i logged out and now it will not let me log in. Is this happening to anyone else or did I break something? TIA

I just downloaded the BattleScape mobile Android client to scratch that old-school grind itch at a more dad-friendly pace.
I've got my Samsung S26 Ultra propped up at my desk next to my work monitor, using the privacy screen feature. While my connected Bluetooth keyboard works perfectly, my Bluetooth mouse isn't registering any clicks at all (neither left nor right click work, though the cursor moves).
Has anyone run into this issue on mobile or found a workaround to get mouse clicks working?

Ignoring OSRS and RS3, e.g. $15/month is a non-starter. I never got into OSRS, but it looks to be a very different game from 2007-era Runescape regardless
I was initially exposed to and attracted to the free, open-source preservation projects, and was interested in the quest content and faster progression. They hit the nostalgia factor for me. Lost City for 2004, 2009Scape, 2011Scape, Darkan, etc. I'm not interested in the RS Classic projects, but there are a couple of those too. All fantastic projects with various levels of in-progress work. If they ever get shut down, you can run them yourself and get a copy of your save. VScape isn't open-source but is in a similar vein, basically quest-complete for 2007 and focused on the preservation aspect. Most of those projects offer some type of boosted exp and minor QoL changes. But there's a clear vision for all of them, mostly as preservation projects with the goal of being realistic to what the game was like in the past, even if that means there are frustrating aspects of the game that are purposefully included. There are endgame bosses and PVM, but it's limited enough in scope that I can wrap my head around the expected stats, gear, and boss progression.
But there are a lot of other projects out there, which seem to be paid. I get that a lot depends on the community. But I tried out a couple of them and basically feel like I was immediately flung into the game with limited direction on what to do and what people actually enjoy doing in them. I'm not actually sure what e.g. the goal and vision is for these popular projects, and what the appeal is for people who play them, other than for whoever made the server to make money. I do see they mostly have unchanged or minorly boosted drop rates, e.g. with drop rate boosts tied to paying money, or the many servers that do multiple relaunches, get shut down, don't have saves transfer. There's a lot going on that I maybe don't have familiarity with due to just how much OSRS has added. But just generally curious as to 'why' people play whatever they do.

I know we have a few 944 Ataraxia/Kravos
And then Velhiem
I have a 926 working server that needs some love would anyone actually play if I spent the time and dedication needed to bring it into a full release meaning it would be RuneScape 3 but loading on a Pre-EOC Shell.
It wouldn’t be perfect but it would be one of few that are currently available with a higher revision.
Thanks for the feedback!

Hey guys, I’ve got ZSCAPE to a point where I’d like one or two testers to run through it and give feedback on what’s broken/could be improved.
join the discord for a link to the zscape website for a download link as well as to post your feedback.
I don’t think this counts as advertising, so shouldn’t be a rule breaker. Game isn’t ready for full on players yet, just testers.
