Good morning, (well it's morning here in WA). Honestly, I have always been terrible at writing posts of any sort.

Well, I am a tall caucasian male, with blonde hair. That's the base level. I have a masters degree, which doesn't make me smart lol, book worm, athlete, outdoors enthusiast (you can find me on the mountain or under the waves), love to write, absolutely love coffee, love to learn, grew up religious. A couple years ago I had enough and went full send on changing careers. With all the changes that come with aging, the love for summer has always stayed constant. Lighter later. People’s faces are bronzed (or pink..) and happy. We’re currently in that sweet spot of a pleasant heat without it being oppressive. I love being outside, especially by the water. I’ve been pretty good about going on my (mostly) daily walks and getting steps in. Music on—watching people kayaking or just frolicking in the water. I love watching other people have fun.

I suppose I’m sun-kissed (for being fair-skinned). The freckles have officially re-emerged as they always do. Ole faithfuls. Thus far I have avoided getting a bad burn and hoping to keep it that way!

One of the downsides of accumulating years of life is not only the realization but the acceptance that it’s harder to find the connections and even just conversation that used to seem so easy. Finding someone who falls into the natural conversing way as you. The perfect mixture of banter, sass, vulnerability, curiosity and sincerity.

I have found the type of engaging conversation I seek on here before in the past, so I like to drop a line. A trail? Once in a while to see if maybe I can find it once again.

Ideally I’ll find someone else who prefers flowy, ongoing conversation. What’s happening in our lives, but also what’s happening around us daily. Stories or comments that lead into the next topic. My conversation style has been accused of being “chaotic” but they usually add “endearing” onto the observation. If chaotic energy is required to spice up a conversation, I suppose that’s the way it has to be. Besides, if I already answered what I ate for lunch, should I not discuss the crows wreaking havoc on someone’s belongings right before my eyes?! 

With the conclusion of the World Cup, there’s a bit of a void to be filled entertainment wise. It wasn’t just the games but I enjoyed the excitement around the whole ordeal. The social element and group chats staying connected and something to discuss and look forward to.

I am completely single. I’m looking for a friend who is also. Just makes everything so utterly uncomplicated and easy. I’m figuring some life things out, which is why I’m not looking for romance (at the moment). That will be in the near future if all goes well.
