Queer TTRPG nerd seeking to join game as a player!
Howdy! I'm Pants, 37, they/them. I'm searching for a local queer-friendly TTRPG game to join in as a player if anyone has an open spot at their table right now!
Here's what I'm looking for:
- System: D&D 5e/5.5e is preferred, but I have also played Starfinder a bit, and am open to learning new systems depending on the vibes/setting.
- Setting: Open to a variety of TTRPG settings but I favor fantasy the best!
- Online or In-Person? I am specifically seeking an in-person game. I don't have much problems finding online games, but I genuinely miss the IRL gaming experience! My dice are dusty!
- Location: In-person! I don't have a car, so ideally it'd meet up somewhere within walking distance of the downtownish area, or within 5-10 minute walk from a bus stop. Open to rotating locations that fit the above, and I could potentially host once I get to know folks better ^.^;
- Frequency: 2 times a month would be amazing! But I am flexible and open to shorter campaigns/one-shots that only last a session or two.
- Availability: I am currently available on Sundays, Mondays, or Fridays.
I'm an experienced roleplayer and I'm flexible with tones from silly to serious (though I love a happy medium personally). I'm great at combat, being a tank, and playing along in good/mostly good-aligned campaigns (I don't have it in me to be evil, sorry xD).
Comment or DM me to chat, ask questions, etc, and we can go from there!
Below are some art I did of my player characters from previous games, and potentially future games if any of them fit in with someone's table :eyes:
Thanks all!

In butoh, the body is not fixed. Movement can become subtle or immense, quiet or wild. Through attention, sensation, image, and transformation, we move beyond familiar ways of sensing, moving, and understanding ourselves. This workshop introduces butoh as a practice of disappearance and becoming.
Through guided explorations, improvisation, and image-based practices, participants will investigate how sensation, environment, and imagination reshape movement and open unexpected possibilities.
Open to dancers, performers, movers, and artists interested in expanding their creative practice and discovering new ways of moving, creating, and being.
No previous butoh experience is required. Only curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Room for rent in West Eugene!
All queer household of 6 is looking for a 7th housemate to join our ranks at the beginning of July. We’ve got a huge backyard, cute kitchen, garden space, cheap rent ($340/mo +utilities) communal facilities (laundry, printer, TV, shared fridges, some communal food) two cats, parking space, and lots of charm. We have monthly house meetings and shared chores. You’d be moving into a well lit second story room and sharing a bathroom with one other occupant.
DM for us to set up an interview! We’re ideally looking for someone to move in at the beginning of July. A one month lease for the duration of July is also an option.
We are looking for a single occupant, rather than a couple, and are unable to accept more cats or untrained dogs.

Transgender care provider that will prescribe injections?
Howdy Y'all!
What are some good clinics or providers for a transfemme nerd looking to get on injections? Or I guess, where do you get your care and how difficult would it be to establish care and get prescribed injections?
For context I'm non-binary, was AMAB, and have been on HRT for a couple months now. The problem is that I'm having a hell of a time trying to get a doctor around here willing to prescribe Estradiol injections! I've been to a couple clinics with negative experiences; Perigon Health (Very nice, Impossible to contact) and Oak Street Medical (Nice staff, Poor communication, HRT GATEKEEPING!!! Won't refill AA). I'm currently going to Planned Parenthood in Springfield, and while I have nothing but amazing interactions with all the staff and doctors there, when I asked about injections they indicated they don't prescribe injections at all (!tho my dumb brain could've misinterpreted this very easily!) and they have pushed pretty hard for me to try patches and then gel instead.
I started on oral tablets that I was constantly failing to remember doses on so I switched to patches which likes to burn my skin off and so I just switched to gel but I haven't tried it yet as the pharmacy either doesn't stock it or doesn't think I'm a real person (I also really need to find a good pharmacy too, lol). I have asked for injections 5-6 times now from 4 different doctors and have either been effectively told "no" or been pressured into something else. At this point I genuinely think injections are the only real option for me in the long run, and it's frankly kind of baffling that I'm finding it so hard to get.
This is probably a topic best answered by my fellow trans folx, but I would still greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer and I think there is always room for more open and civil discussion! Not really sure where to ask this (I'll also post it in r/Eugene too if I can) and I have done some digging into these two subreddits, but I didn't really find what I was looking for. Thanks!

Pride Month: Call-to-Action
Support students who are being censored!
A 4J middle school is being banned from celebrating a day as Drag Day; in solidarity, dress in drag to support them on Wednesday, June 3rd! Administration won’t allow queer students to name their own days of celebration. They don’t want to make non-queer people uncomfortable or mad, just because queer students exist and want to celebrate together!
Dress in your version of drag and tag/share to Queer Eugene- we can show the students that their community supports them!
Let us celebrate Queer Pride in June or we’re celebrating Queer Wrath in July.
Drag is art.
Drag is playing with expression.
Drag is performance.
Drag is testing.
Drag is armor.
Drag is a costume.
Drag is growing what you know about yourself.
Drag is growing what you know about the world.
Drag is part of queer culture.
Drag is part of queer history.
Drag is part of queer futures.
Let Students Say Drag.
Let Students Do Drag.
Let 4J Leadership know that their administrators and decision-makers need to learn more about the queer community, and listen to queer students and staff when making decisions that affect them.
(Politely, please) email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])** and [mickelson_[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) **to demand queer students be heard and supported FULLY, administrators get training on queer-specific topics, and they stop censoring queer students to maintain the status quo
