Found this complete in fantastic condition in the wild for $20 a couple days ago. The Penn Dutch 3 piece Friendship promo pattern.

Just found these at my local thrift. My first visions piece! I'm so excited but a little afraid to use it.

I haven't found much thrifting in a long time. But one thing I can always count on is one of the cats getting involved when I'm trying to actually use my Pyrex.

Recent Salvation Army find! I had never seen this pattern before and really love it. however, I can’t seem to find much on it other than it being part of the ultra line. It is also showing up under a few different names on google, anyone know what the real name is?

Hey all.
I finally found the right tool to clean up this old percolator's stem of some limescale and coffee residue, so it's back and ready for use again. I'd hate to break such a lovely piece of family history, so I'm wondering what the proper care and use for this thing is. Can it go from the stove to the fridge, is it correct to put it straight on a stove burner, etc.

Also, for curiosity's sake, I'm wondering what the composition is on this and when it would have been made.

Sadly, today, I dropped the red one and it broke into a billion pieces. 😭😭😭 Anyway, what was the model/size of the red one in this set? I ofc have to try and find one now while I lick my wounds. My newest thrifting find! I found this four piece Visions nesting mixing bowl set at a thrift store for $35. I believe it’s the cranberry color. Just got to give them a good clean. I am very excited to use my new mixing bowls

EDIT: After some Googling, these may be just Pyrex, not Visions set. Previously I was seeing listings on Etsy saying that it was VISIONS. Still a really cool find.

Found this great quality 473 Butterprint yesterday at my local antique store.

So I actually picked her up last summer but nevergot around to posting. So here she is! She's replaced a much newer (not Pyrex) 8 cup pot I picked up at Ace Hardware a few years ago. While we host friends for holidays we use the stove top because everyone one enjoys the coffee so much more.

Also please ignore the weird-looking burner in the back left. My partner accidentally melted a plastic bag on it a couple of weeks ago. We've been struggling to get the remainder off.

Wanting to keep a fall color theme in mind, what would be the best 442 for this Frankenstein working set? Any and all ideas welcome 😁. I’ve seen a couple that I’ve almost pulled the trigger on, but nothing screams “this!”
