LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Looking for chill, ambitious friends to connect, chat, and learn web development/coding with

Hey everyone,

I’m a 17-year-old student taking a partial gap year to focus on my upcoming entrance exams. I’m looking to connect with genuine, goal-oriented friends across the country.

Alongside my exam preparation, I really want to dive into tech and start learning coding. I'm a beginner ( though i have made some websites with the help of AI) and want to start with the foundational web track—HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It would be awesome to find people who are also beginners so we can learn together, or anyone with some coding knowledge who wouldn't mind sharing tips or guiding me on how to start out!

Beyond tech, I want a circle of driven people who can lock in when it's time to work, but are completely relaxed and down to talk about absolutely anything when they are free. It would be great to text, call, or exchange voice notes to share updates, vent about study pressure, or just have fun conversations.

A major goal of mine right now is to actively improve my English speaking skills and general communication, so I’m definitely looking for articulate people who enjoy casual calls or voice notes.

🚫 Strict Rules Before Interacting:

No Relationships: I am strictly looking for clean, respectful, platonic friendships. If you are trying to flirt, date, or find something romantic, skip this post.

No Creepiness: Corny, creepy, or weird profiles stay far away.

A Community Built by Programmers, for Programmers

I've built a programming community for people who genuinely want to learn, build, and improve together. ( 600 members currently, completed 1 year on dc )

Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced developer, you're welcome as long as you're serious about learning.

This isn't a server to join and forget. We're looking for members who are willing to stay active, ask questions, help others when they can, share resources, and contribute to the community.

If you just want to join another server and stay inactive, this probably isn't the right fit. We regularly remove inactive members to keep the community engaged.

DM me if you're genuinely interested, and I'll send you the invite or will drop link in comments.

Looking for a programming buddy(Beginer)

Hey everyone!

I'm from India and currently entering my 2nd year of B.Tech CSE

I just know very basic c++ and python

I have wasted first year but now I'm starting DSA in C++ seriously and planning to stay consistent for the next several months

I'm looking for study partner who is at a similar level (beginner to intermediate). The goal isn't just to chat—it's to actually stay accountable and improve together

Share progress and keep each other consistent

Preferably someone from India because of similar time zones

If you're also starting your DSA journey or are around the same level, feel free to comment or DM me or Comment

Looking for low-level mentor

Background, I am a SWE contractor who entered the field with degree after 2024. Professionally, I’ve mostly used Python/TS, but I’ve dabbled in many languages (part of my work responsibilities). I like to learn stuff that don’t seem immediately relevant to me, including low-level stuff. My grasp on low-level aspects + fundamentals is a bit lackluster.

I was looking for a mentor to help guide me with resources to start with, that also matches my schedule a bit (considering I have a job). So I can’t just grind a learning project for 12hrs a day like I used to.

I think some goals to highlight would be as follows:

- Objectively determine the root cause for a bottleneck (I/O, network, etc.) and why

- Get MUCH better at performant C/Rust

- Contribute to the Linux Kernel

Note that reaching the goal does not matter, but the journey towards it. For example, never finished my debugger for learning, but learned a lot more about CS along the way.

LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Placement Group for Final Year Dual Degree people

Having placements coming up.
Didn't do an intern this summer. Bummer.
I'm a dual degree student finishing up masters, going to try to start competitive programming from scratch, or just DSA.
Going to try to go for a few hackathons if I can. Maybe work on a few projects.
Oriented towards working for AI/ML Roles or Software Roles mostly.
Going to discuss DSA, LLMs, Kernel Development, Agent Development, like actual development, stopping vibecoding for a while at least. Going to try to do open source, would really appreciate some help there.

Timezone: India - but really open to any time

If interested, send me a DM.

If someone can mentor in DSA and LLMs or Kernel Development please DM, would really be grateful. I would really love to get to work for any publications regarding the same.

JAVA DSA and full stack buddies

Hello everyone, I started learning Java Full Stack about 6 months ago, but somehow I couldn't complete it. Now that I have started again, I realize that I have forgotten most of the concepts. This time, I have started from scratch and am currently learning OOP concepts. I hope I will be able to complete it successfully this time.

If you're in the same boat, we can connect and help each other stay consistent and learn together.

I also know the MERN stack, through which I completed an internship and some freelance work. Alongside that, I am practicing DSA as well.

Opensource PHP/Laravel LMS system feedback

Hi everyone,

Over the past few months, we've been building TadreebLMS, an open-source Learning Management System focused on enterprise and corporate training.

We've recently completed a major restructuring of the project

How can we use AI in our product and process to speedup the development, process and customer support ?

The project is built with:

  • PHP / Laravel
  • MySQL
  • Bootstrap / JavaScript
  • Docker

GitHub:
https://github.com/Tadreeb-LMS/tadreeblms

We have a huge roadmap like SCRUM Integration, UI upgrade as per FIGMA, Gap Analysis Module Integration, Integrations with HR Systems etc...

Please anyone experience or architect in PHP can give recommendation on best practices, gaps in the system etc..
