I would wager that a man with similar expectations can also be called difficult and aloof. I used to work for such a man. Hard man to like but I admire his work ethics.

It's a very American but Puritan attitude and some Americans take it way too far. Meghan demonstrates the human balance, so we see work, but also fun meals and hanging out in the garden with children or friends. We also see her spending time with her husband and supporting his interests. And then we see both Meghan and Harry giving back to their communities. There's balance in the Sussex household.

Unfortunately it's not solely an American thing. I used to be quite chummy with my ex company's legal advisor. Everybody, especially thr ladies disliked her for being cold, difficult and aloof. She wasn't all bad, but I would say acted like most guys in the office. Work life balance is a thing we all want but find it difficult to achieve especially if you have bills to pay and need to put in more hours just to keep afloat. The Windsors are a bad example. They have access to resources that the vast majority of us cannot even imagine

The problem is fair compensation versus greed. I'm positive if Harry and Meghan wanted to be richer they could put in more hours and be so.

The concept is one of enough. Do they have enough to remember to play with their children, and make a cake for a birthday? Do they have enough to invite friends over to wine and dine them? We can all use more but do we know when we have enough?

My dad didn't tell me what principles to have but told me to have some. Good advice in the end.

Men and women should both have standards. Men and women should also be aware that if their standards are astronomically high, they are only leading themselves to be miserable.

Unreasonable standards will price yourself out of the market. You need to have some self awareness.

She would be easy, not difficult. Because 0 standards.

Yesssssss ma’am!
Preach it

People who go around complaining that standards are too high are just secretly snitching on themselves

A man with boundaries will always be called controlling

Depends on whether you are honestly difficult to deal with in a fair way. If so, I don’t want to put in the effort, and god forbid have the liability of marriage and kids.

Or is just difficult because she’s difficult

And a man with standards will be called an incel, by everyone who is threatened by the insane idea that men can also have standards.
