I have been posting Portal content for over 4 years now, and within that time span, I have met some of the most amazing people in my life. I have also met people who have made my life a living hell. Before I go any further, I am not making this post to get sympathy or to make people feel bad for me. I prefer to be open and honest rather than bold-face lie. In the past couple of months I have been: Doxxed, harassed, cyberstalked and threatened. I am currently being cyber stalked by more than one person. I have contacted authorities, and what they are doing to me is considered Harassing Communications. This issue has taken a toll on my mental health and led me to going on hiatus a couple of times, but every time I came back online, there were more accounts made by the people stalking me, which made it feel even worse than before. I am aware that this post is going to get hate and possibly get me harassed. Because, it is the internet and this is Reddit. You can be as sweet as grandmother's baked cookies and people will still find something to nitpick about you. I have not been feeling good at all in months. All these situations keep dog piling me and making me feel worse about everything.

I am deeply concerned with the mental health of my harassers, I do not believe they need to be on social media, I believe they need to be in a facility where they can safely get the help they need. I am not just worried for them, I am worried for myself and for my friends and anyone else involved in this childish nonsense. The reason for them stalking and harassing me is because of a few Portal Characters and my opinion, and the fact that I am autistic and I struggle with health issues. I am not trying to drag these people online or sympathy bait anyone, I am explaining what is actively going on.

I will be forever grateful for the friends I have met because of this community as well as the following I have gained from this community as well. I thank all of you for the support and kindness you have shown me, it truly means a lot to me. Again, I am not trying to smear anyone or start drama or play the pity card. I would rather my friends and following know of what's happening instead of completely disappearing. For now, I may either stop posting entirely or post very slowly. I am prioritizing my mental health and putting myself first like I should have from the get-go. I am saying this now: I am safe, I am in a safe environment. No one is trying to find me in real life at the moment. This is being posted to all the platforms I am active on.

This photo is taken during my Oregon RoadTrip and I keeps thinking I’ve seen this in some dreams but turns out the familiarity comes from Portal.

pretty much the title. tried to access https://theportalwiki.com/wiki/Main_Page and it just says it couldn’t connect to the server. Is anyone else experiencing this issue as well, or is it just me?

I've been building a self-hosted hobby project called Tesserae that pushes dashboards to e-ink displays, and at some point I realised my house generates exactly the kind of data Aperture would want on a status board. So I made a theme.

Three screens so far:

• Facility Systems: lights and HVAC. 2 of 9 fixtures illuminated. The Emergency Intelligence Incinerator is not an approved light source.
• Test Subject Observation: the cats. Subject #001 is a Weighted Companion Cat (threatens no physical harm, nor in fact can talk). Subject #002 is an Aerial Faith Subject with an unsanctioned trajectory. The Litter-Robot reports in as the Material Emancipation Apparatus, complete with weigh-ins and drawer status.
• Atmospheric Conditions: weather. The weather is not part of any officially sanctioned test. Please do not attempt to solve it.

Cake dispenser has been out of order since 1998. Reward status: promised, ETA never.

Everything updates live from real data (Home Assistant and the Litter-Robot, which weighs the cats every time they visit). The software is open source if anyone wants to build their own facility signage: https://github.com/dmellok/tesserae

look, I might be stupid and just don't know where the setting is, or there really is no way to lower dialogue volume, and in that case I hope you guys know a mod just for that!

I'm assuming someone hacked the account or somehow was able to post music underneath the official Portal Soundtrack name...
