Calendar zeit ist now!

It is indeed that time of year, that a moderator decides that they are to be sacrificed upon the altar and announce that they are to lead the Calendar project for yet another year. First it was /u/Eesti_Stronk, then it was /u/Diictodom, after that /u/kahn1969, and now it is your humble old Andy walking up to bat.

So, without further ado, I am happy to announce that the sign ups for the 2027 Calendar are now open! If you are interested, please comment in thread to show that you want in!

The FAQs will be mostly the same as previous years, but to repeat them:

What do I need to do to sign up?

Comment below, including your Discord tag if applicable, as well as the number of panels you would be willing to draw (you can always change the number later if needed, but I would appreciate a general idea).

Why are we starting early?

Because this is a big project. Drawing 365 panels and coordinating between a large amount of users is no laughing matter! 2027 may seem like a long time away, but once you start work on this and the deadlines begin rolling out, I assure you that it will very quickly feel a lot closer.

Who can participate?

If you are an approved submitter on /r/polandball, then you can join. But if you aren't, then don't fret! We will also be accepting /r/Polandballart submitters who are frequent and quality contributors! Just say that you are interested in joining in this thread and I will look through your profile, and I will judge from there.

How much can I draw?

There is no specific minimum or maximum number of Calendar panels that one must draw. It will all depend on two things: first, how many people participate and how many panels they take; and second, how much you want to draw. When you sign up, you can tell me how many panels you wish to draw, and in three days time once the calendar signups are closed, we can give a preliminary outline of how many panels each person should draw. Note that this is mostly for the purposes of planning and that the actual number of panels drawn by each person will likely vary in the end.

This thread will be open for three days. Sign up by commenting (Please include your discord username if you are in the PBC discord server, and including the number of panels you wish to draw is recommended) in this thread and you'll be added to the project! After that three-day period, the project will officially start, you will be given a certain number of days to draw, and you will be able to claim your days.

You can also use this thread for any questions you may have regarding the project before you sign up.

Hello, this comic was rejected for having a "weak and bland joke." Can you guys help me make it funnier/more interesting? I want to get better at my comics.

I have submitted two comics for approval to the r/Polandball community. So far both have been rejected by the mods. The second one followed all rules except that the US balls stars were dots. However, the rejection message stated the main reason as the joke being too weak. Now, it seems sort of odd to me that my comics can be rejected from a whole community based on one person's sense of humour.

How can I make my jokes more appealing to the moderators? Id there a way to get a second opinion or something?​

Hello, I submitted a comic for approval to r/Polandball after my last one was rejected (i forgot some rules). I followed all the instructions for the submission. However, i have received no response in 2 days. Is this normal, and is there a way to grt it looked at?

Can Countryballs have high eyes?
