so ive logged roughly 20 hours in the game so far, just got to the last unlocked gate.

however when I started I saw the little "you may want to wait till you know more before entering" infront of pallet island and i thought "that's crazy, anyways I'm going in" but I ended up doing like. nothing.

and I know eevee gave me a mission (i think) but haven't been able to trigger the text again. and i came back thinking "okay. I can explore a little, im confident" picked up one pokeball for like a giant temple, the temple dimensions where GIANT, i got scared, i left.

but now im hearing people talk about buying dyes on pallet island and that sounds absolutely amazing but im so confused what is going on there (._.)​

I need help with building. I get overwhelmed and not sure how to build my dream paradise. I have some ideas but I need help. People who are skilled and would want to help me just out of the kindness of their hearts. I am not sure whether a cloud island is best or not either way I am willing to learn. Im pretty new to the game and I decided that I wanted to terraform thr land of Withered Wasteland, So first of all I wanted to move the Pokémon Center, but I got all the people to do it and I cant for some odd reason?

I am enviorment level 4 in withered wasteland so maybe thats why?

I've been playing the game since release day, I have around 300 hours in the game.

I'm still missing a lot of the items, I didn't want to look for a list of all the items online because I was trying to get everything on my own, maybe come across it and i never wanted to go to someone else's island and just take pictures of the items because of the same reason I mentioned.

At this point I don't know.

Are there any items that are exclusive to the cloud island or is everything in both of the in game areas and the dream islands?

One of the things I hope that they do is either raise or eliminate the electricity ceilings. I've got some big builds already and Skylands has already hit max generators which means i need to be creative with how electricity is dispersed. If you as men putting a cap on something like this feels a little restrictive

Pokémon center and pokemart sell 6, do manually built stores cap at 5?

So i’ve googled this about 5 times. I’ve tried bringing Squirtle to the Rain Dance Site and feeding it the berry 3 times now. Still no rain. Is this just bugged or am I doing something wrong?

Question about what different pokemon like.

Specifically about habitats first, which pokemon like their base habitat they show up in? Which ones want a prefab house and which ones want a self made house? Is there a difference?

Because I’ve tried making some houses but it’s very cumbersome and not enjoyable at all, and the color system is beyond complex and complicated and not fun. Can I just leave them in their habitats they showed up in or can I not make them happy that way? How do I make every Pokémon get to the highest happiness level?

What is the best bet to do for them? And with toys and other items and environment around them?

Today I learned that even if you find a legendary Pokémon on a Dream Island, they won't come back with you if you have 5 Pokémon following you... Also you can't tell Pokémon to STOP following you on a Dream Island...

Wanted to post this because I haven't seen anything about it anywhere and hoping to save other players the heartbreak 💔

All I wanna do is build charizard a freakin house and I'm having so much trouble getting it to register as a home...sooo very annoyed right now.

I see everyone building long wide homes and i can't build just a kinda simple home for him. what the heck am I doing wrong!?! wished they'd fix the game so it's not so finicky

I'm gonna add furniture i know that'll help but that wasn't the issue.

I'm gonna add more but here it is so far and it registered as a house yay..any suggestions on ehat else i could do to improve it

I've been enjoying Pokopia, but there's one thing that's always made me curious after 400 hours into the game.

When you build a new building, you gather the materials, place the construction kit, and then all the Pokémon work together to build the entire thing.

That got me thinking. If they're capable of building a whole structure like that, why isn't there an option to relocate an existing building instead of having to build it again somewhere else?

I'm not saying this ruins the game or anything. It just seems like moving an existing building would make sense based on what the game already shows the Pokémon can do.

Has anyone else thought about this, or is there a gameplay reason I'm overlooking?

I just unlocked the ability to gulp up water and I decided to suck some up from the ocean to make a waterfall. This left weird, Minecraft-like gaps in the water however. How do I fix them? Spraying water on them doesn’t seem to do much. Also, when I want to make a waterfall— where do I get the water from then without destroying my ocean?

I’m doing the quest where I make the air more humid and squirtle suggested I make the Gras am Wasser Habitat (not sure if the english name is just grass on the water habitat so I’m leaving it in German). He then asked to move to it, but I already built him a house and moved him into it. Do I have to leave him in this habitat? If I move him back will his happiness go down?

I know others have posted similar, but i think it is important to keep it current so hopefully developers do something about it. I play disney dreamlight valley and there are many things that pokopia could use as inspiration

Some specific problems

- you need items in your inventory to craft any items requiring them. Dreamlight valley allows you to craft and cook even if the ingredients are in your storage box

- even if you open a storeage box that already has a stack of items, you need to manually click all the items in your inventory that you want to add to stacks. Dreamlight valley has a smart transfer button, which automatically adds all the items from your inventory to stacks of the same item in that storeage box

- you need to change areas just to access your storeage!

- inventory upgrades come super slowly as even an option you can buy, they should come faster in the progression

- even if i clear my inventory before visiting a dream island, i still will often run out of inventory space and need to go back to my storage outside of the dream island before returning again

These problems are massively decreasing how chill and enjoyable the game is and are surely easy QOL fixes. Id much rather they get addressed before additional expansion content

Just had an idea for a pokopia like game... it's focused on breeding and contests... nanny macargo like mosslax... hopefully it's okay to post this here. Just another cozy ish game I think would be really fun

I've built quite a few houses now but im struggling with how to decorate the insides. I feel like I keep doing the same thing for every house 🙈 any inspo pics would be grea.

Added a new batch of Textures and Blocks available to use to build in Buildopia today!
We now have 72 of the games blocks to use on the website to plan a build with, alongside the already added other building tools.
I ask recently added trees, flowers and shrubs.
If anyone is curious, I’m using my own textures rather than the ones from the game to avoid any copyright issues going forward (not that I EXPECT it to be a problem, just avoiding it entirely)

I was cleaning the back of the volcano area in Rocky Ridges so I could maybe build the altar of flame there, one thing led to another and I’ve been cleaning ashes for a while now. Do we have a picture of the map without ashes? It’s so weird because there’s this weird pillar close to the gate. Is there something there or is just some random blocks?

I’m kinda annoyed because it’s taking a lot of time and it’s not that much better than when it had ashes all over it lol

What did you guys do with the volcanic ashes?

Nor do I have any vegetation displayed that might add to the humidity. What is this chicken talking about??

Just realized the museum in Rocky Ridges is asymmetrical and it has slightly ruined my night.

The right side of the main building is one block shorter than the left side, and the decorated roof pieces on each side don't line up with the center between the windows.

So now I'm extending it by one block because once I noticed it, I couldn't ignore it...

The lack of a forest or actual mountain range in Pokopia is one of the games few let downs.

But at least you can use the 'natural' valleys and hills (and A LOT of mountain grass) to make it into a great camp site, archeology site and fishing hut!

Very happy with how this is slowly turning out 😁
