The pink things smelled super sweet, almost like plumeria flowers. Branches hung super low. Sorry I only took close up pics.

mostly i just think its really freaken cool to see :) i came back the next day and it inevitably had withered away. my best guess is this was a devil's beggarticks seedling that had an unfortunate genetic mutation? been having a lot of them pop up around the yard this year but this is the first one ive seen with no green!

I’m horrible at seed identification for trees but I found this on what seemed to be a cedar? tree that had a bunch of baby cones. But this was the only different pod on the entire tree. It also seemed that the base of the tree was intertwined with some type of fan palm tree that grew close but towards a separate way. Not sure if that would help any. TIA

had this beauty gifted to me by a lady who was moved house near me- apparently it’s a 60 year old fern but no idea what kind and would love to know! Also sometimes gives off strange orange wiry growths??

North shore region of Massachusetts. I’m not sure what this tree is in my new backyard. It’s not particularly pretty but I’m deciding whether to keep things or plant new ones based on if they are native or have any ecological value. If it’s invasive, it goes! If it’s native, it stays. It’s maybe 9ft tall, idk when it was planted (or if it was planted intentionally).

The plant ID feature on my iPhone gives me completely different answers based on what picture I submit so I thought I’d ask some educated humans instead!

I inherited a garden from a previous owner who absolutely filled it with exotic shrubs and bushes. Gradually we found a lot of the bushes dying off one by one.

This one seems to thrive though. It grows quickly when cut back and it spreads quite far in clusters to parts of the garden 5+ metres away.

Could you tell me what it is?

Everywhere on my lawn near pond..

My dog dug this up from somewhere in our yard (central Texas) and seems to have been chewing on it. We had all sago palms removed years ago, but wondering if this is part of a bulb? I know they are extremely toxic to dogs. Not sure if she nibbled on it or actually ingested a portion of it.

If anyone wants the backstory, this plant was one of my Nanny’s (maternal grandmother) favorites. After her passing, the family members that moved in to her house have now removed it. I want to surprise my mom with one for our yard but I can’t figure out what exact plant it is. My Nanny was old southern and just called it a red flower. I called it a hibiscus but have no clue what it truly was. It came back in the same spot every year. Most likely native as she very rarely ever bought any plants for her yard. Thank you so much for any help!!

He told me it is most likely some sort of succulent which also grows in Morocco. Do youguys happen to know the exact name of it? I am struggling quite a bit to find the right tips on how to take care of it. Thanks!

It's in an overgrown area by some native wildflowers and a hickory tree.

Plant with the white circle around it. This is in my backyard in eastern Missouri. 3 leaves and the leaflets alternate on the stem so I know it isn't boxelder.

This little guy grew as a bonus plant in the leftover soil of a dead poinsettia (the dead twigs still in the pot!), the soil came with the deceased plant which was store bought in the pot and a gift and I’m not sure of the origin. I’m assuming a seed was dormant for a while and then sprouted due to the warmer weather.
It’s grown rapidly over the last few weeks from a little surprise sprout and I’m very curious and don’t recognise it.
I’ve included some earlier pictures of growth and more recent ones taken at time of posting.
