This tiny principality in Central Germany ceased to exist in 1909 with the death of the last Duke Charles Gunther - celebrated with this coin. The two Schwarzburg duchies became one under Gunther Victor of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt but the Prince did not issue any more coins.
