Hoppers is a great film and it's one of my favorite Pixar movies in the 2020s, I love the characters, tone, humor and chaotic, it was very fun and I really love that Pixar take creative risks, there's some dark moments and the shark scene was terrified me and it's was surprisingly fun, even Mabel squish Titus's mom, I was shocked and laughs at the same time, while Titus is not top-tier villain but he is a good villain, I'll just wish that we see more of him but overall I will give this movie 8.5/10, hopefully Pixar's Gatto is good and marketing well and hit at the box office performance as well, What do you think of Pixar's Hoppers, let me know in the comments down below!

Since the animated series of Monster inc did quite well i think it demonstrates that a lot of Pixar movies had potential to become an animated series.

I personally have two:

-Toy story: follow the adventures of Woody and Bo helping lose toy finding kids or helping them to repear when they broke.

- The incredibles: A show like justice league with touch of family matters like fantastic four with troubles of personal life with the Parrs. Also expand the incredibles word with new super heroes and villians, i would like to see Time to time the public opinion and how they respond with the actions of the super heroes

I feel like Pixar might have to start having lower budgets, but that would probably involve them outsourcing the animation internationally rather than in-house. From a buisness perspective it might be needed, but then the American animators would be laid off which wouldn't be good, or at least make less money if they decided to still do some animation in-house

After decades, I finally have confirmation that this was real. In 1998, they held these "A Bug's Life and Beyond" showings at the El Capitan Theater which had various exhibits about the movie which you could browse after finishing the movie.

My parents took me to one of these. I have a few vague memories about this:

- They gave us a Tarzan flip book of him riding the vines, before the movie came out. The booklet was quite small, rectangular, and had a distinct smell to it.

- The interior had a dark, black ceiling, strong dark green theming to represent leaves and grass, and I think hints of purple. This picture shows a tiny hint of that.

- I recall seeing a giant grape funhouse and thinking "damn, that looks so fun, I want to go inside." I don't recall actually going inside. Looking at this map, it's actually a raspberry:

- This is one memory I'm NOT sure on whether it's real, but I think I recall the curtains of the theater being ornate and they started with a puppet show before the movie.

I'm struggling to find any photos or video footage of the event.

After a whole year, why have they still not gotten out? Bloat couldn't destroy his bag by blowing up, and then help the others get out? And there was nothing else they could've done either? And how have they survived in there?! No food, and oxygen would run out!

Pixar’s animation quality has always been amazing. Even more so today. But one thing I know most of us have noticed is that their environments in some of their films hit photorealistic levels of top notch quality (I don’t know if this applies to Elemental, Hoppers, Gatto, and maybe Luca as their environments look more stylised compared to Soul, Lightyear, and Elio for example), but they keep the character designs cartoony and stylised.

I was wondering how do you feel about how the cartoony characters contrast with the photorealistic settings in Pixar’s movies?

Please note that I’m NOT saying the way Pixar’s animates their films is wrong (nor is it a jab towards the “bean mouth” character design), I’m just curious about how others feel about their animation methods.

I discovered this a while back, but didn't have Reddit then, and then forgot about it, but better late than never.

Mr. Ray's Ocean Explorers Guide was officially licensed and made by Disney (for some reason the link on Disney's website isn't working so I had to use the Wayback Machine), and surprisingly, gives names to characters I never thought had official names!

One of the Jellyfish's name is Huff, the anglerfish's name is Trench, one of the dolphins is Tap, the barracuda is Pierce, and the blue whale's name is Tank. While the guide has the green hermit crab, they strangely don't give them a name. There's also Maria (Spanish Dancer), but you can find her name elsewhere on the internet, unlike the other characters whose names aren't mentioned anywhere else by anyone!

While making this post, I also stumbled on Finding Nemo: The Essential Guide, which has even more minor character's names! One of them is Bert, who I can't remember ever seeing in the movie, and there's also Hutch, who seems to be the same species as one of Nemo's classmates but I think they look slightly different (both characters are named on page 16 of the book). Nemo's class's music teacher is apparently Señor Seawood (page 18), who is apparently an octopus who appeared in a book called Fish School (go to 1:33). This comment on a Pixar Post post that was asking about the character also says he was in one of the bonus features on the DVD (the comment also strangely says he wasn't actually in the book, which he clearly was).

Also on page 18, we learn a bit about Kathy that I never heard before. It states "Kathy is the class techno-wiz. She dreams of one day inventing a synthetic oxygen lung so she can breathe above water and discover the uncharted territory above the sea". Give me a spin-off of her right now Disney/Pixar. I always liked her design and thought it'd be fun to see her more, but now we really need more of her.

Apparently Pearl is a star soccer player (page 20)!!

This is all so ridiculously cool. I didn't even know about all this stuff from the Essential Guide, but when double checking that Maria (Spanish Dancer)'s name was found elsewhere on the internet, AI brought up the Essential Guide and I had to check it out (don't hate me for using AI- I don't use it blindly and double check what it says, and it can certainly be useful and help you discover things you wouldn't have otherwise found).
