I have recently joined the Fit4less like over been two weeks, idk if people were never so not welcoming in west or it's just hate or dislike against a community.

Observing people making eye contact for a fraction of second and then quickly changing out the look out direction like they never had it, I personally don't have a problem saying Hi, or if you have headphone on waving, but people be like, rolling over the eyes, looking out and trying not to contact out again.

Just wanted to share and I respect everyone's decision of not being welcoming, but we at least used to say Hi, in east even when passing by on a sidewalk.

This is the second time this has happened to me the first time there was this white van I was walking home from my girlfriends house near Pitt meadows secondary and was crossing the road I hit the pedestrian sign and it’s late at night and this white van comes out of nowhere and almost hits me some old guy and if I stuck out my hand I would of been Abel to touch the van and I sped up after I saw him coming as it was dark maybe he just didn’t see me and I sprint a bit just to get out the way and he just stops in the middle of the cross walk and just looks at me no like wave or anything just stare at me this was maybe 1-2 weeks ago brushed it out until tonight I was walking home from my girlfriends house and made a stop at 711 and there’s another white van I think nothing of it got some wings I walked out and the van was off and I seen an old guy in the van kinda looks like the same guy but I just ignore it and walk on home and looking back here and there because it’s night out and just wanna make sure nobody’s following me I see the white van start to pull out and I live near Harris road so I’m walking to Harris and he pulls out and goes into the chevron gas station so I’m js like maybe he needs gas so I’m walking and I get near the train tracks and I look behind me and he’s driving like he just pulled out the chevron and driving slow like maybe 10-20 khm and there’s no other car on the road and I make it pass the train tracks and he drives slowly behind me maybe like 10-20 khm and slowly passes me but I’ve made it to the train tracks by now and he pulled into shell but the only problem I need to walk though shell or I can walk around it but it just takes longer so I just walk around it and then he pulls out but he goes and drives slowly pass me and pulls into the complex I live in and parks in the front and I live in a place where he’s park he will see which house I live in so I go though my back yard which he can’t see and I walk into my house though the back and I just checked outside though my window and the van is still there just sitting I’ve lived in this complex for 8 years and I’ve only seen one van in this complex anyways I don’t know maybe there’s a diffrent story and he has a reason just want you guys to stay aware and be safe. Ps I just checked and it’s been here since I got home 30 mins ago

Anybody know what’s happening? Road closed. Police and guns storming a house on Hammond Road (near Harris). Looks concerning.

I’m looking to have someone refurbish my Camaro z28. Does anyone have any recommendations for a place in the Tricities area? I would like to preserve the original contents of the car as much as possible. It needs to be cleaned well, old gasoline removed and fresh put in. The strips are starting to come off as well. It runs but due to the old gas carburetor has lacquer buildup.

Noticed some renovating going on in the old co-op.. anyone know what it’s gonna be? 👀

I see by letter from the city that the Parking regulations on Bonson around Edith McDermott are changing and that there will be more enforcement. I hadn’t realized so many people were complaining. It will be interesting to see whether they actually do everything that they are saying that they will do. In any case did anybody else around Edith McDermott get the letter and thoughts?

Did anybody happen to find a set of keys last night (Apr 29) between 730 -830pm ish.

Walking on the left sidewalk walking south on Harris rd from Civic center, left on Airport way walked along the paved pathway - Bonson ,up Bonson to Hammond, left on Hammond , right on Harris.

1 key had an orange plastic key cover ,and 1 had a Green plastic key cover along with a couple of other keys on the ring. Dm me if found.
