I think this is one my favorite patterns so far! It gives you the opportunity to create two different looks in just one plushie, either in color or in mood!

A big thank you to everyone who tested it! Make sure to check out their work!

Work In Progress Any tips or tricks for making a pattern?

Hey y’all,

I know this isn’t exactly what this sub is meant for, but figured it couldn’t hurt to ask. Please let me know if this post breaks any rules.

I’m currently free handing an amigurumi dog (as I couldn’t find a non AI pattern I like) and I’m writing all the steps down so I can make another one down the line. Since I couldn’t find a good pattern, others probably can’t either, so I figured that maybe when I’m done writing it I could get it tested and upload it to etsy and/or ravelry.

Do any pattern writers have any tips/tricks to writing a good, easy to understand pattern? Do any pattern testers have things they’d like to see included/excluded more?
