Shitpost Sorry your panera sucks.... Mine is great!

Like the title says I'm very sorry your panera sucks, my panera is great and makes their food fresh and still actively has a kitchen! The portion sizes are great and the food tastes great. I've been eating at my local panera for over 10 years and the quality hasn't gone down, we still have a bakery with a bunch of items idk what's going on with the rest of your paneras' but I'm sorry 😔🤧

The only thing I'm pissed about is them getting rid of the coffee cake, it was hands down the best dessert on the menu. The kitchen sink cookie is great but it will never be her...

Question What did I find in my sandwich

Found while chewing on my ciabatta cheesesteak along with smaller shredded pieces :(

Looks a bit like cheese but it looks like a tearaway piece of plastic to open a product. Felt rubbery. Can anyone help identify what it’s from?

Are your stores still marketing like this? Seems awfully illegal, please share your pictures!

Limited Sip Club ☕️ How come theres a considerable amount of hate for the sip club?

Like the title says, whats the hate about for the sip club? I really don't get why people don't like it, it's just kinda "eh" to me, neither good or bad since most people who come in don't get a whole meal, but theres still a level of interaction that can keep me grom getting other work done.

Question Catering Lead or Shift Manager

I'm in an odd situation where I have been given the opportunity by my district manager (genuine pedophile) to become a shift manager (for $17 an hour. I currently make $15, $16 with tips as a team lead) and my general manager has offered to make me the store's Catering lead (for $16 an hour plus tips)

I am in a franchise.

I'm at a store that has only been open about a year and we don't have very much catering so I would be expected to increase the amount of catering at our store as a catering lead.

I did talk to the district manager (hated by our whole market) today and he was set on $17 and hour and unwilling to increase that number until I brought up that I wouldn't make tips anymore so it would practically be a $1 raise from what I currently make and it would be LESS than what some of my fellow team leads make. He said he would look into that and let me know as it "might change [his] mind."

I'm also LDS (mormon) and wanting to serve a mission which would mean leaving (for two years) sometime not long after the next 6 months. The district and general manager are both aware of this.

If any current/former catering leads or shift managers have advice or want to compare stress, pay, opportunities, or whatever you think is important I would really appreciate that.

I have no idea what to do here

Question Panera Location Closing for Good, should I transfer?

I haven’t been working for Panera for too long (maybe around 6 months) but I had been promoted to team lead about a month ago and have been slowly getting decent at my job… until today. My GM offered to transfer me to another select location and even said I would keep my current team lead position, can anyone share their experience on being transferred, and whether or not they continued to work their same position at a new café?

So if I have a cup that was given to me by Panera, that says “Unlimited Sip Club“, does that mean I am grandfathered in for unlimited?

New Celebration C7/C8 2026 Megathread - We're in our "Oh crap, we need new ideas! Copy what Starbucks is doing!" era

What's Being Added:

C7 (begins 8/19):

  • Pumpkin Spice Latte, Iced Latte, and Frozen Java: Freshly brewed espresso combined with foamed milk and pumpkin spice sauce, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice flavored crumbles. Served hot, iced, or frozen.
  • Pumpkin Spiced Iced Coffee: dark roast coffee with pumpkin spice sauce over ice, topped with sweet cream cold foam and pumpkin spice flavored crumbles.
  • Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll: Cinnamon roll with pumpkin jam filling added, topped with pumpkin spice icing
  • Caramel Pumpkin Slice: a slice of cake with pumpkin pie spices, brown sugar, vanilla, and salted caramel flavored swirls, topped with pumpkin spice icing.
  • Pumpkin Cookies: replacing the tulips as the decorated sugar cookie for the season. Guess they didn't feel like bringing the flip-flop back this year.
  • Frozen Hot Chocolate Recipe Update: Gets Dairy Base instead of half in half, in line with how the Frozen Javas are made. 4 pumps of chocolate sauce instead of the 6 it normally gets due to the dairy base being included now.

C8 (begins 2 weeks later on 9/2):

  • Ciabatta Dippers returning: Chicken Pesto has Grilled chicken, provolone & parmesan cheeses, basil pesto spread on Ciabatta with a Creamy Tomato Dipper. Only protein, cheese and sauce can be modified. French Dipper has steak, provolone & asiago cheeses, garlic aioli drizzle on Ciabatta with a Bistro French Onion Dipper. Only protein, cheese and sauce can be modified.
  • Harvest Medley Salad: Mixed greens and fresh arugula, balsamic vinaigrette, whole grain blend, grilled chicken, mandarin oranges, feta, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, toasted pecans, crunchy beet strips.
  • Three-Cheese Lasagna Soup: Italian-inspired sausage, lasagna ribbon pasta and parmesan cheese, in a ricotta tomato broth topped with asiago cheese. (side note: my nonna is rolling in her grave right now at this mortal sin of a soup)
  • Baked Potato Soup: Homestyle cut potatoes with bacon, chives and seasoned creamy broth — topped with diced bacon. Bacon cannot be fully removed as it is a base ingredient in the soup.
  • Autumn Squash Soup: Vegetarian soup with a rich blend of butternut squash and pumpkin simmered in vegetable broth with honey, apple juice, cinnamon and a hint of curry — finished with sweet cream, topped with pumpkin seeds.
  • PB&J Cookie: peanut butter cookie filled with grape jelly and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
  • Cinnamon Croissant Bites: Mini croissants bites baked with cinnamon crunch topping. Served with icing on the side for dipping.
  • Chocolate Chip Bagel returning

Question Sesame Ginger Market Bowl

Hello!

I was wondering a few things about this market bowl.

- is the chicken warmed up?
- are any of the other ingredients warmed up besides the rice?
- what’s in their roasted corn? Is it just corn or is there other things already prepped in the corn (like onions)

Thank you!

Question Shift meals

I work at a corporate ran location that gives us a $15 for shift meals for every shift. Recently i realized that i often times totally forget to ring them in but theyre always way under the $15 limit. (Since realizing i have started to ring them in) Ive been working here for a year, and havent had anything said to me. I feel bad for just now remembering i shouldve been doing that. Would i get in trouble/fired for this, or would anyone else get in trouble for my mistake?
