Outside of Northern California I usually just say I live in San Francisco. If they ask for specifics I’ll say on the coast, just south of the city.

Hello Everyone, my wife and I will be coming to the area for our anniversary in about two weeks. She absolutely loves trying out the local food and events. I’m looking for recommendations on some of the best little mom and pop places/ hole in the walls in and around town. We’ll be there July 13-16th.

My husband and I are moving from SF to Pacifica this fall/winter and are very excited! We just started browsing homes and would love some insight on the different neighborhoods within Pacifica.

We are in our early 30s with no kids but hoping to start a family in the next couple of years. My husband surfs and I love to walk/hike. Ideally we'll live somewhere within walking distance to shops/restaurants but realize that may make our options pretty slim. Any insight around microclimates is also much appreciated!

Hi all, happy Sunday. I know that while there isn’t one big official fireworks show, there are plenty of people who take matters into their own hands. Does anyone know of any good lookout spots to watch the neighborhoods that tend to have the most fireworks? Thank you so much in advance!

A friend has a layover at SFO and I would like to take her to some groovy Pacifica spots.

A pretty, classic NorCal beach. Maybe at the base of a cliff for wind cover if we need it.

Maybe even dog friendly, but not essential. Border collie can stay home in Oakland.

It might be too windy overall for the beach, so maybe a park alternate? I have a bad knee, so hiking is out.

Lunch in SSF at Inda Mely. Ideas for dinner in Pacifica? Nothing fancy. Fish & chips?

My fav place over there is Shelldance Orchid Garden, but they are only open on weekends. Y'all are so lucky.

Even something super chill like a movie if there is a charming vintage movie theater. I think I remember seeing that around there, but I might be thinking of another beach town.

Never thought I would be asking about a mosquito deterrent in California, but here I am.

Does anyone also experience issues with some stray mosquitos here and there? We seem to be getting a couple inside the house on the daily, and they can be very disruptive during the night. Perhaps this is a unique problem to our place though.
