It is still wild to me that we went from people mocking the old Pac-12 having conversations with at the time, a very dead network in The CW in 2023. To now, 3 years later, the CW having the new Pac-12, the ACC and the Mountain West, also including them having the Arizona Bowl, and most likely the Poinsettia Bowl and maybe the Hoilday Bowl.

It is insane how the CW basically went from a dead channel to now being involved with 3 conferences with the opportunity for more.

Thoughts, and what do you think the CW will get next?

I know it’s mostly just been a new patch added to existing jerseys but I still love seeing them.

Anyone know if they are getting new jerseys this year? Hoping SDSU changes it up but I know they won’t.

Single game tickets just went on sale and my wife and I are planning our first new Pac-12 football season. Halloween in our Beaver Orange and Black in Fresno seems like fun.

The visiting team section, 28, tickets are only $40. This seems suspiciously low? Are these terrible seats?

Will we have batteries hucked at us if we sit somewhere else?

Canzano: "The new Pac-12’s first official competition, women’s soccer, starts on August 12. Details on the conference’s free direct-to-consumer offering are expected to be released to the public in the next week or two, per a campus source. It won’t require a subscription, I’m told. The “how-to-watch” information is an important element. Pac-12 Enterprises will produce. I expect this to include an app and web-based streaming".

Fandango is making a move into free streaming supported by ads and sports are expected to play a central role. This week, The first major sports move was the recent announcement that Bundesliga matches (German Soccer League) would begin airing on the streaming service this year.

With USA Sports being a media partner of the Pac-12, this will be a win for both parties. USA Sports would also be able to cross advertise / promote both services (USA Sports and Fandango) to everybody watching.

Another streamer that some people thought could be an option, Victory+ has lost multiple teams because the service failed to make its required payments to those teams. Texas Rangers left this week, Anaheim Ducks also notified that are leaving.

The Pac-12, now has two bowl tie-ins: The Poinsettia Bowl which was confirmed months ago to be legacy Pac-12 against the new Pac-12 and now, as of yesterday, we now know the second one, The Idaho Potato Bowl which will be Pac-12 against Mountain West but no further details at this point.

With this, what other bowls do you think the Pac-12 will have a tie-in to and what are your thoughts on this new development?
